I'm at almost the same point with my TE2. Its sitting in the garage right now with a 2 hour old paint job. I'm not touching that bad boy for another 4 days though as per TK-4510's advice on the paint cure. Yours is looking really good! I didn't sweat all the bumps, cause like ThayNerd said, its supposed to be that way!

Yeah, the kid Anakin got really old in TPM. I wish all ewoks would come down with some mutant strain of parvo and die in ROTJ. My favs are ANH when Vader and all those troopers come in the tantive at the beginning. Damn cool back then, still damn cool now! I also really like the scene in ROTS where Anakin is slipping into the lava after being struck down and screams 'I HATE YOU' at Obi-wan. I loved the intensity of that scene. And...Darth Maul was the poop! Too bad he was more like a cameo...

Ah, roger that. I can sympathize with the finacial aspect. I really had to juggle to get the AP. Plus, I'm waiting on a TE2 helmet in the mail. Merry Christmas to myself. Anyone else getting an error page when trying to view someones profile? I've tried on two different CPU's and get the same error on both. It's kind've annoying...

Ah, rivets are my specialty (aircraft ones at least!). If you use 1/8" 'pop' rivets, then just find some 1/8" washers. If you are using 5/32" then find the corresponding diameter washers to go along. I picked up some 1/8" rivets at Home Depot and they actually stock the hand riveters, the rivets, and the washers all right in the same section. They also carry those rivets in white (how nice of them )!

Well, maybe it was fate that cracked his helmet. Now he can look into getting an upgrade.

What I'd like to know is that if someones going to go to the trouble of making something out of plastic (i.e. the bucket), why not something a 'little' more accurate? I keep expecting the eyes on that thing to pop out like some toon from Roger Rabbit!

Also, it looks like quite a few have 5 cut teeth on either side of the frown. Maybe its just the light, but hey they have formed aerators so why not?

Dynamat is a pretty good dampening material. It will add some weight though. Most car audio type strores carry it. Also, you may hear certain brands called Brown Bread or B-Quiet.

Yeah, the 30's are the best age I think. You make better pay by then, you got a bit more wisdom and more of a level head. Only problem is, the ol' metabolism usually starts to slow up. Don't think you can eat what you did as a teen or a 20-something! I'm gonna use my armor build as motivation to not turn into a mcfatty! Gotta make sure it fits! You ever seen how ridiculous a plumber's crack is on a stormtrooper in full armor when he bends over to pick up his blaster? Wow, scarier than Darth Vader with a hangover!
