  1. Good to hear you`re still on it but no rush, take the time you need and enjoy the build meaning build when you want to - we`ll be here supporting when you need help/advise
  2. I don`t have AP myself but it`s to my understanding that the sniper knee hold some challenge when trying to put it on so you are not alone, and one way of doing it is to assamble the shin "offset" meaning raising one half and thus making the sniper knee alligne better and it will be hidden by said sniper knee...check Wook1138 AP build for more info
  3. If you go with imgur, wich works great, after you uploaded the pics use the "direct link" and then just right-click and paste in your thread
  4. Started the weathering by using fullers earth, hairspray and a sponge...but what caught my eye was the tubestripes (had the helmet sitting on a stool) they looked way of so just wanted to show they are a pencil width all the way.....not entirely happy with them as I just free-handed them between two stripes of tape...gonna give it some thought and then redo if I feel like it Anyways...started with the shins and boots...still need to fill in some creases on the boots and under the raised edges of the shins, in generall were dirt would accumulate....the great thing by using hairspray is that you can easily remove it and start over, or go clean TK, but the same time resilient enough to stay put.....not to sure about heavy rain though so tread carefully And..going about this by using the principle of "less is more" and taking my time Too little...? Too much....? Just enough...? Comparison - and the weathering stands out more "in person" than the pics show so I guess it`s kind of hard to give feedback but wanted to share all the same
  5. Yes Return edges - for Centurion there can’t be any on the wrist-ends, other than that it’s up to personal preference (look, comfort, mobility) having returns gives the armor the illusion of beeing thicker so try and keep some and if you plan on using the bracket-system then you need to keep a return on all the torso pieces. Some screen ref of return edges.
  6. I have a rubber one from Imperial Warfighters and loving it
  7. Adding shoulder elastic should do the trick Edit: And it looks like your right strap is backwards. Edit: and it looks like the right (looking at the picture, don`t know if you`re in a mirror) is backwards.
  8. Congratz on another great troop and for looking great Then you should come to Stockholm
  9. The belt should be included in the strapping kit (mine was) but shoot them a message just to be sure - and great work on the helmet and ears
  10. Happy BBB-day and welcome to FISD Best of luck with your build and for the pics I recommend using Imgur
  11. Received my pouches from Blaster 8266 (MEPD) and did a full suit-up, the helmet isn`t ready but I still put it on as I didn`t want to give Dan another scare
  12. Yeah that would be my guess too, a bit hard to see as you say but unless you permanantly fix the biceps in the bells you can swap as you go along. The CRL (costume reference library) states: Shoulder Armor One on each shoulder. The shoulders are considered effectively symmetrical. They may be worn interchangeably on the left and right shoulders Shoulders have a black elastic strap that wraps around the inside of the bicep. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): There should be a minimal gap between the shoulder armor and the chest/back plates.
