  1. Hi Chris and thank you for your EIB submission Before we can get started I need you to include the following pics showing: # The fixings of thigh ammo pack - inside/out. # Shots of sniper knee - left/right/front. # Outside posterior snaps. Thanks in advance and just to clarify - the EIB photo check list has not yet been updated to reflect the all the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Another small thing: the split rivet on the cod is not ment to be painted white (originals were brass) so if you feel like amending that as you provide the other pics you could
  2. Hi again Miguel Upon closer inspection I´m sorry to say that we found a few things we need to sort out before we can proceed. First we have the helmet and the CRL states: the frown is painted grey and does not leave the teeth area (Basic approval) Some mineral spirit and TLC should do the trick. While you are working on it we also suggest replacing the mesh to something more black. Next up is the arms, you have alot of flat surface on this arm that needs to be reduced, either by trim down the forearm (you appear to have room for this) or use a slightly larger cover strip to even things up (the cover strip should be in the center). We also ask of you to provide additional pics showing front/back of your other arm. We also need you to provide pics showing the back of both thighs and shins to allow us a closer look. Lastly we have the sniper knee and unfortunatly, from these pics it does not alligne with the ridges of the shin as stated in the CRL for L2. We know you have been working on this but as it stands it will not pass Centurion. If this a photo issue we are happy to take another look
  3. Hi Luis We have something we need you to correct before we can proceed. This side of the sniper knee needs some cleaning up. Post a new pic when you´re ready and we can add yet another Centurion to your name
  4. So - here´s how you line up the thighs And, If you like to see how it looks before the ammo pack is installed you can look here
  5. With the right thigh you don’t keep the bottom even, you alligne the ridges so they go to a point. I’m on the phone atm so can’t show a reference pic. The bottom gets covered by the ammo knee. Bare with me and I’ll show you when I get home
  6. I would spend alot less and get a rubber E-11 from Imperial Warfighters, you find them on FB
  7. Congratulations Trooper
  8. We´ll be here for when you have the time
  9. Awesome
  10. It´s not - straight from the CRL Cut-out notches at the bottom of right and left sides of the Kidney Armor are optional. If present, each notch is approximately 22 mm tall and the back of the notch ideally is aligned with the front edges of the Posterior Armor plate. However the original armor had it so if you want to ad a little extra ANH-flair to your suit I recommend adding them
  11. Thanks Andy I painted the vocoder... ….and now he keeps me company while I´m on here
  12. Hi Luis and thank you for your Centurion submission - Just wanted to let you know I`ll get started on it in the next day or so
  13. Awesome Jerald! Welcome to the Legion and FISD Trooper
  14. @Trooper19767 Hi Douglas, you need to request 501st and TK-status, that´s why you coulden´t start a new topic here https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/186-501st-and-detachment-access-requests/
  15. After some serious back and forth I decided to go ahead with original plan and added the masking gum and white paint, a bit too white but decided to go the lenght and see how well it works with the rest of the armor ones all the other details been added. If way to off then a re-paint is on the table Maybe added to much but can always paint over with a brush.
  16. Here’s a thread worth checking out - and welcome back
  17. There´s not, use the pic provided by James as a rough guide - idealy the button plates stay within the mounting area and don´t go to big on the paint as seen below (same pic, only bigger) and your golden
  18. Like a glove One small thing, you seem to have alot of return left on the top ab-plate, If you´re doing the brackets then you will need some but it looks like you could trim atleast half of what you got now. Internall strapping is very much to ones liking, I have elastic for all of mine, others use webbing and happy with that. If you start with elastic and feel it´s not working for you then it´s fairly easy to swap to webbing or vice versa.
  19. Awesome! Congratulations and welcome to the Legion to the both of you
  20. Hi Miguel and thank you for your Centurion application and also for your patience Just wanted to let you know that I will start working on it
  21. FYI this is not mandatory at the moment but if not present it will be a suggestion to improve the overall look, much like the brow hight, angles of the ears and size of ab buttons to name a few
  22. Hi Brendan This will be discussed in the D.O team but no matter the outcome you won´t have to sacrifice the ones you currently have. I´m sure you still have the mic tips AP supplies with the Kit so simply change them out for your Centurion submisson and you good to go. Some valid points have been made here. However the CRL clearly states the use of and to qoute: correct ´Hovi aerator mic tips´ and those are hollow. But again, this will be discussed in the terms of how much detail should be in the word "correct". The CRL is as we know evolving but not without discussion. There is a hectic time at the moment and mistakes might happen so bear with us for now. If a mistake has been made we are eager to correct it. If there in fact was a mistake in approving these type of mic tips then the applicant needs to replace them as Centurion is the next level and things missed/overlooked during EIB and later noticed won´t get a free pass for Centurion. I know you understand this Brendan and will make the necessary changes, if any, to make your Kit look and be as accurate as possible. Just clarifying for all who´s following. Brendan, as you said you like how the mic tips sound, after you are cleared it´s up to you what you do with your Kit. Much like the UKG who adds stickers after EIB/Cent approval.
  23. Awesome - congratulations and welcome to the Legion Trooper See you at EIB
