Eric Alexander 7794 EIB Letter Thank You!

In my experience, Custom Props is a great seller to work with. I'm sure if you ask, they might be able to do the navy blue. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

TK 5156 Requesting EIB Status.[127][AP]
Mowskwoz replied to TK 5156's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Looks great Mike! Glad to see you painted that rivet you missed in your application pictures. It was an easy pass for membership and it should be the same for EIB. Great Job Trooper! -

TK 8527 rerequesting ANH Stunt EIB status due to upgrade
Mowskwoz replied to R2Dan's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
It should be an easy pass. I agree with bluehickey. You should add a strap to connect the chest and back. Other than than that, it looks outstanding. Great job! -
The holster rivets do not need to be painted.

Zach, since your current setup is more ANH than ESB, you should cut the loops(cut the front side of the loop so you end up with a longer strap, if that makes sense} and mount it from the backside of the belt with 2 rivets (or chicago screws) on your left side leaving about an inch of the strap showing below the belt. If you want ESB and do not want to cut the loops, you would need to repaint the frown on your bucket, get new handplates and mount the holster on the right side. Here is a thread about holster attachment. Make sure you read each post, as most of the info you need can be found throughout, including pics. ------

Yep, She tags along as Leia and is better at costume support than most adults.

I troop with Craig too and he is awesome. He truly lives up to his nickname "Hyper". He can't stand still at a troop, he is everywhere. Usually the first to suit up and the last to dress down. By the way, he is already at 101 troops and will probably add 1 or 2 more this weekend. Congrats Craig!

Best Glue for use on a hyperfirm E11
Mowskwoz replied to TK6294's topic in General Weapons Discussion
My counter fell off on my first troop with it. I used E6000 and it has worked out great. Months of steady use and not a problem. E6000 hardens pretty rubbery so it allows the pieces to flex instead of breaking off. -

That's amazing Paul. Great Job. You truly are the Trooper Master. -
Looking good Alex. You may want to add a strip of elastic from the front to the back near the bottom of your shoulder bells to help pull them in to where they need to be.

Congratulations. Dang. I should have waited a couple days. I'm #76. It would have been cool to be #77. Since my ID is 7794 and I was born in '77. -
TK 7794 Requesting Expert Infantryman Status.[76][TM]

Wow! and just under 1 hour. Thanks guys! -
Thanks for digging this up. I was looking for this thread a while back to post some pictures of my photo shoot at an abandoned building in Detroit. I just finished posting these pictures in my EIB application thread right before I saw this. But this is a better place for them.

Ok, I've been putting this off far too long so here I go. 99% of these pictures were taken back in April and May with the exception of my blaster pics. It took me forever to sit down and bend out a d-ring, attach it, and then take pictures. Funny how that little thing kept me from applying all this time. Armor & Helmet: TM (Helmet built by TM) Hovis: Keith(Provided by TM) Canvas belt: made by Firebladejedi's tutorial Leather holster: Supertrooper Blaster: Hyperfirm (with homemade d-ring) Boots: Caboots And a couple more pics, just for fun. These were shot in Downtown Detroit at an abandoned building. Special thank you's got out to the following: Paul for his armor and helpful pm's during my build. Stukatrooper and Firebladejedi for their tutorials which came in handy during my build. Riviting for his amazing neckseal. Supertrooper for his beautiful leather holster, helpful pm's and the friendly nudge during my legion application to apply for EIB. My GLG garrison mates for their help. And to the entire FISD community for all the helpful tips/tricks that I read/studied while building this armor.

Flexible TM armour

That is amazingly awesome. I can't wait to see more. I'll start saving my pennies now. -
These sound very interesting. I may have to try some of these out. Has anyone else used these "pull the dot" snaps? Not sure I can tell from that picture what was adhesive was used. Have you tried to carefully pry it off with a blade?

Great Lakes Garrison at Detroit Tigers Game May 4th
Mowskwoz replied to tk0471's topic in Field Training Exercises
It was lots of fun. This was my 3rd troop since being approved and my 3rd troop in 3 days. Best weekend ever! It doesn't get much better than this. Oh wait. Motor City Comic Con in about a week. With Carrie Fisher!! Man, do I love being a Stormtrooper. Here's me riding the Carousel at the Tiger Game in my recently finished TM Armor. -
Drop down box strap material?
Mowskwoz replied to JSmails's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Thank you! I think you just saved me a couple dollars at the fabric store. If I'm not mistaken I have a couple of those straps in my basement from some bookcases I have. I guess, like me, you never bothered to strap your bookcases to the wall either.
