yes deff take some pics first. Have you tried it on with the gaskets as well? Fitting can be a bit of a pain

Good morning, a friend of mine was talking about getting a shirt with gaskets already on it. Was wondering if anyone has done this or found a few pieces to mod. Right now I have geeky pink gaskets and a one piece undersuit with the shinny shorts. They are fitted to form and while they work it's a process to get everything on. Now that I'm approved would like to start making mods to get kitted up easier

Well I went ahead and ordered a kit from Wayne (jim kit) got it done and approved. No idea if this MIMIC build will ever get done. MIMIC just can't be counted on. I thought when I got armor in April I'd have the rest by the end of summer. Being told by Christmas but who knows. Mimic is a garbage vendor and I would stay away at all costs

Diversity props made my vest and I'm happy with it. There are loads of better suppliers outside of aNOvos

Get a troop in your original TK don't lose your active status just because of a-NO- vos Still waiting on my MIMIC 2nd half, but luckily I just got a Jim kit from Wayne I'm fixing up to use for now. One way or another I'm trooping in a new FOTK before Episode 9

Only kit I know of that doesn't need paint is MIMIC's kit. You can find him on therpf.com I have half my kit in and it's beautiful. There is one spot open on the run and you probably won't be waiting near as long as I have been. My garrison mates that are doing KB kits just got clear kits and planning to paint with Kyron Gloss White I think

Yikes anovos is still taking orders? At least you get money back from them eventually but they have just as much drama behind the scenes

Good lord that sucks; I was all happy this morning when I got update from MIMIC that he finished ALL the molds. Has been a hell of a waiting game but glad I stuck it out. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I have 3 troopers locally with PETG kits and they have a ton of bad pulls that are being reworked in bondo and a bunch of parts that are missing. I'm doing what I can to track down suitable replacement parts to make the kits they have complete. Just a shucksty day for everyone my heart is broken for everyone.

Over the weekend I had some troopers at an armor party receive armor in that was missing parts and rather than get upset I've been on a kick to preach inventory as first step in the build process. I heard a comment from another veteran that had a similar mind as mine and was wondering why there were no checklists etc, was his first experience receiving hard armor. A lightbulb kicked on in my management set mind and I created a community shared document with various armor makers and a list of what should be included. I invite the community here to help contribute to the document and hope it helps as something that is helpful during BBB days and helpful to any makers. Hoping for troopers to receive them in. I was on this run and got off and still don't fully have mine from other maker. Has been a challenging armor to get ahold of for me.

I've used e6k everywhere on my kb pilot and haven't have issues. glued the yoke to the back tight and filled the gap with bondo. I've only trooped in it once so far so I'm probably not best source of info Bondo imo is great if you mix it well (without getting air in it) and the surface is well prepped

On the back yoke section, the side "tabs" that you'll be putting Velcro on. I've seen that taken in a bit. The square details should be on the actual chest piece tabs so it shouldn't mess anything up. I think KB left quite a bit on for bigger troopers.

I think you can trim the side connection on the back a bit. Mine looked like that with my Tie Pilot but once I added my soft goods it came together fine

Yay progress! And imo at least for our garrison there is no point in having a blaster. I have only been on a few select troops where it was allowed, and the majority of those were north of the border. I'm going rubies repaint all the way. It's way to small but no one can tell and it's not that important of an item

Watching as well; garrision mates have FOTKs on order and are ordering the newer clear plastic since it needs painted anyway. Will be interested to see how everything turns out
