  1. This has been a great post to follow. Awesome job putting this together from the vocoder to the lenses to the painting. I'm definitely saving this in case I need to paint anything
  2. Velcro works great. Get some good industrial strength stuff too. I've had mine over a year and it holds up great
  3. Yep thumb print is on the left side: Biceps are a great piece to practice resizing with since they're pretty forgiving. Let us know if you have questions resizing anything else especially since some of the parts are trickier
  4. Scout and TKs are my two favorites. Glad to have you here
  5. Congrats on your approval and welcome!
  6. Welcome! We've been talking on messenger. I'll be sure to give you an FISD coin when I see you May 9th when I visit! Again welcome!
  7. Welcome! Looking forward to your trooping Log
  8. Can your ammo belt be positioned/glued so that it doesn't droop so low? I believe it's pretty normal for ammo belts to have a slight upward angle to cover up closer to the cover strip
  9. Great work. I remember doing the exact same thing with my forearms. Like you said it took all day but totally worth it for them to fit. Looking great
  10. Love your work so far. And yes I'll be there at Celebration!
  11. So I literally just noticed that my Appliance white started to yellow on some armor that I used it on about three years ago. Just a warning. That being said it would be incredibly easy to cover in Humbrol or Tamiya if that ever happens. And the yellowing is only slight
  12. My friend has an AP kit. He's tall and it looks and fits great on him
  13. I wish I knew more about the FOTK but welcome aboard. I would look through here and there should be some info on where to find those parts. Often the most recent build threads list where people find their parts as well: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/152-tfa-stormtrooper/
  14. Welcome! Glad to have you here
  15. Welcome and I want to say one thing about budgeting. This isn't to scare you away. I would love to see another TK added to the ranks. However I've been in a spot where I've also been on a super tight budget. The thing I've learned is always add 50% to any budget in this hobby. So if you're planning out a costume that's 1k, it'll realistically be 1.5k. There's always extra costs you can't account for. So even if it takes a few more months I'd spend that time saving up. Even 1k for a full TK is pretty tight. I thought mine would be $1,200 and it ended up being $1600 once all was said and done. Hope this helps in budgeting and please ask any questions you have. Good luck!
  16. Mine cracked here too. The key was to put some abs backing underneath it and I used E600. It's held up fine since
  17. Please let us know if you have any questions at all. Welcome!
  18. Looking good and keep it up! Yeah for cover strips I play it safe an let dry for two days. If for some reason they need extra reinforcing (like my forearms) I added a second inside strip
  19. Looks like you got it. Direct Link is best just like you have

  21. Meant to chime in earlier. Huge congrats!
  22. Welcome I'm glad you stopped in. This is the ultimate resource for all things stormtrooper. Let us know if you have any specific questions moving forward
  23. It's in rough draft mode. I want to spruce it up a bit then make a post when I get around to proof reading it for sure
  24. Amazing! Hope to see a Trooper Tracker in the future
