I agree with you, a weathered set would be amazing - and heck, all the Boba nuts do it as well, let alone them Sandtroopers - and it's screen accurate after all! - I might just do it! I did wear a set of my latex handguards for some of the pics, but the only set I have ready right now is glued to a pair of gloves that is a bit too small for me... no fun wearing those! I'm getting some Plastidip (good stuff) soon and will paint a new set for trooping, then it'll be latex all the time... now that sounds kinky Here's a pic with latex handguards:

I also really like this one, even with the damn knee sliding beneath the thigh again: looks classy, I'm going to use it on my Garrison trading card soon

Thank you Paul I'm still not sure wether I should weather my armour or let it happen naturally. I know I want it dirty - natural weathering looks more real close up, weathering it the way I did the helmet will make it look worn and old in no time... tough decision! Yeah I really like that particular shot as well - but hey, I'm just the small guy sporting your armour, so a big part of the awesomeness is thanks to you really

Hi guys! Some of you on here already knew that I had this in the pipeline, but this weekend I finally found the time to get it close to being done: My very own Dave M. "Set For Stun" helmet replica. The helmet itself is the prototype of a new generation of Vaj lids (used to be NGB), which is yet to be released. I fixed some little cracks and webbings on it, then gave it the whole Dave M. treatment. All I need now is some screen for the mictips and then I'll call it done The pics won't show all the weathering details, it looks pretty greasy to the eye - anyhow, enough bla bla, here come the pictures: I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I'll let you guys tear it apart now

May I ask who made that suit? Looks a lot like a MovieFX rig to me, would be a miracle how you got it to Singapore though!

Do you have any kids, or is it just you and the wife? If it's just you two, and you don't feel comfortable where you are, I'd say go find a new job somewhere closer to the bright center of the universe With kids this might be a little more problematic, as they probably have a stable social network there that they rely on. Anyway, I can absolutely understand why your situation would be really, really depressing. I'm blessed to live in a very urban region here in Germany, with millions of people living close by, so I get my fair share of nerd friends here. I can only imagine how bad it must be being the "freak" living in an otherwise boring, conservative surrounding - if finding a job someplace else isn't an issue, I'd say do it! This hobby gets ten times better once you have people to share it with, and from what you've written it doesn't look like you're going to lose interest anytime soon
