  1. I'm going to leave the 1/4" gap for now until I make the adjustments but I have a bad feeling that I'm going to need 1/2" to possibly 3/4".
  2. Yes I have ape arms[emoji23] 32" wings from arm pit to finger tips
  3. Now I have looked at the reference pics and found a trooper with a 3" space similar to mine but I'm trying to look proportional so that when I do my raised arm shots I don't look like I'm wearing a shirt I've outgrown.
  4. Did a test fit last night with one arm prior to putting elastics in. After being referred to the reference pics and priceless guidance I've caught a couple of issues. I haven't removed enough return edge on the inside bicep so my hooks are going to have to come back out and some more scoring, snapping, and sanding will have to be done. The other issue I have is that my elastic on my biceps are too tight pulling my bicep up and creating a 3" gap between my hand plate to my forearm plate. Many kind thanks Tony!
  5. Looking forward to watching it all happen and the epic times ahead!
  6. Beautiful job Kris! I'm experimenting with a lot[emoji23]of E-6000, clamps,Fix-it stick, and silicone. Can't wait to see how yours turns out!

  11. Last night I decided to take it easy and do a once over of the basement outpost and get the sewing machine out to start making straps. I also ran out of snaps and E-6000 which I will pickup today along with my 3M headlight restoration kit. This way I can polish up the armor prior to putting on the snaps. I think I will look into my trooper tote today too so as each finished piece can be stored safely. Oh man[emoji38], have you sensed it... ...There has been an awakening and my fellow AP recruits are getting closer to deployment. Awwww ya baby - Git'r'done!
  12. A liquidation store - they can be found at Home Depot as well - Flooring Department [emoji106][emoji3]
  13. Great progress mate! I can relate to the recharge after attending a troop.
  14. Many thanks Dan! I considered Velcro at first - the only reason I chose to go this route is to avoid the tearing noise of Velcro during movement.
  15. Yes my friend[emoji106][emoji6]
