  1. I concur with that mate - looking great none the less [emoji106]
  2. Progress report! So this is what's left to do: - glue other shoulder strap to the chest plate - complete 6 more straps (biceps to bells, chest to ab, kidney to back) - paint ab buttons - left side ab rivets - shin closures -buffing/polishing - finish helmet I'm finally starting to see the end of the climb and the air is thick with energy and adrenaline - Oh yaaaa! [emoji23]
  3. Come on Angie - you've come a lot further than that (don't let that other place hinder your spunk) - you're a researcher with a plethora of threads tagged and your not going to be a recruit forever [emoji106][emoji6] The hot tub has to be in a big pot - boiling and remain boiling (197*F if you have a digital thermometer). From the sounds of it leave it in for 10-15 seconds and use gloves to start to curve. Repeat process until desired shape/ curve achieved.
  4. One of the "Legend's" threads: HOWTO: ATA Helmet Build hand painted details PIC HEAVY! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/28633-HOWTO%3A-ATA-Helmet-Build-hand-painted-details--PIC-HEAVY%21

  14. Next I'll be using bubble gum and chocolate bars to seal a reactor leak in sector seven. [emoji12]
  15. Good point Eric! [emoji23] If you don't happen to have Rebel Incinerator trip wire hanging around you can use 18 gauge thermostat copper wire, fence tie wire, or even a trash bag tie wire will work[emoji106][emoji6]
  16. Male Snap / Right Side To prevent too much space between the connection in the armor I used some thin scrap when making my snap plates Dry fit yielded awesome results and I'm looking forward to seeing the final look
  17. On to ab to kidney side connections again using my rubber mat method - CRL for Centurion ref. Abdomen - "Ideally there is no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor - A single visible seam is present": Rivet side/ Left Side
  18. Time to get some elastics ready for those shoulder bridges! Using some thin gauge wire (old trip line lol) I created a hook and pulled it through the gap so that once tied I can hide the knot inside my straps.
