  1. You're sister is going to be trooping before I am at this rate - stellar job!
  2. Sweet job mate and coming along awesome!
  3. [emoji23] That's hilarious - I don't think it will be a problem, keep me posted none the less (I'm a sponge for this stuff lol)
  4. Currently working on a big update - uploading 64 pictures and a new trick that I tried[emoji106]
  5. Just make sure to use a lot of glue (allow for 24 hours cure time) and install inner cover strips. My seams split in a couple places after shaping a few times so I had to bust them apart and redo them but it was easy peasy.
  6. I've dubbed it "Tony's Hot Tub Trick" - and it has helped huge with lots of ways. My forearms are now comfortable, my shoulder straps have a nice curve, and my thigh ammo belt nicely curved as well... Dang I wish I had tried it on my knee plate come to think of it.
  7. Great progress and look forward to watching the rest Peter!
  8. Hey mate - the sniper knee plate is a wee bit off kilter on mine too. I spent 45 min trying to dry fit it mine after hearing about this to see if I could help but I'm going to have to do the same as you.
  9. Here you go I found the email: "Hi Aaron, AP biceps, forearms and shoulder bells are the same for both left and right also seen on some of the movie suits. Mark (AP)"
  10. Awesome[emoji38]! Stand-by working on it PM's inbound
  11. No worries mate - K I just got that app so I will get you a better explained picture - is that e-6000 or CA?
  12. I was just looking at that pic again - do both pieces have a raised overlap? Can I also see the inside seam if possible?
  13. Here's one for you - what app or program are you guys using to use arrows and lines like that?
  14. Hard to explain in words - give me a second with that picture and I will pm you mate - unless Tony can beat me to the punch.
  15. I believe that blasters can only make it across the border in kit form unfinished (no paint) so that it's easily recognizable that it's a non-functioning prop. If it's in just one or two pieces then it might make it. This is what I've been able to gather from lots of thread reading and asking other troopers.
  16. Yes good sir![emoji106][emoji2]
  17. When you get done post the pics, and if I can see any areas of question I will PM you the photo back with pointers to show the areas that still need more work.
  18. The bottom portion is curved in toward your elbow and has no real return edge on it - take a look at my build thread - Page 30 - Post 594
  19. Is it possible to cut the overlap down to perform butt joints with slightly larger cover strips without affecting sizing and then reinforce with internal cover strips to fill in the gap?
  20. That being said though - Dan is correct on accuracy - I counted the ones from the Stormtrooper in the elevator. The same pic that also shows the hand guards detail that they are flexible- man I wish would could upload photos straight from our phone. I might shoot Tim a PM to find out more about this mobile uploading as it would help for instances like this.
  21. This is that question from a month ago that we discussed where I got you to count the indentations and I emailed Mark thinking I got two left forearms.[emoji23] Both of the AP forearms are identical with 11 indentations on each [emoji106][emoji6]
  22. Score and snap out return edges then use micro-files to remove anything left over. Do not use a dremel unless you are confident you won't slip.
