Pyrates AP Build and Journey to The 501st
Pyrates replied to Pyrates's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
[emoji23] 3 to 4 weeks which should be ample time to finish the armor side of things - kind of a blessing in disguise really. I have to wait for TM to get back to me to complete the order. -

Sorry I'm unfamiliar with "padding the post count". For those that know me, I wear my heart my heart on my sleeve. Titles and compliments are not easily earned and not given freely in my world and is truly deserved of those who receive them[emoji106][emoji6] -

I gave them their appointed titles as they have been with me since the beginning and I listen to them with unquestioned loyalty. -

As for your trooper story: A good friend of mine was doing a winter night jump - they jumped at too low of altitude with heavy wind. Needless to say 10 out of 30 hit the drop zone and the rest had to be medi-vac'd to the hospital. My friend was lucky that the tail of the snow shoe missed the artery in his thigh but he also made me dislike shush kabobs. Gruesome but he made a full recovery. -

Dan is my recruit Captain and Jason is the 2nd "In Command" and reminds me of my old Corporal 2 I/C that squares you away and gets you back on track when things start to go crazy. And the coolest Sandy I know -

Undo the teeth I filled in and make a HWT bucket when I have funds again then it will be easier to switch to a Sandy later when the armor wears down [emoji106][emoji6] -

[emoji23]Envious yes - jealous no - grateful that I will be able to walk when I'm older and no scars from snow shoes puncturing through my leg like what happened to my friend lol -

Well mates, my Hero build lies in the hands of Troopermaster. I have PM'd him to inquire about getting a hero helmet kit as my ears do not fit properly on my bucket. So my helmet build is on hold till I hear back. Keep calm and FISD on Still lots to do on the armor [emoji106][emoji6] -
Yay - I might have fixed my problem too
-
Once again mate - you're not alone - after getting mine trimmed I have discovered that my hero ears will not work with my bucket - so now I'm looking for a new hero bucket.
-
The only quick breakdown I can give is to grab a piece of card stock and try and replicate the contour of the helmet - then use template as a guideline on your ears
-
I wish I could help mate but I'm putting ATA ears on an AP bucket - I'm working on them tonight when I get home and have a couple of ideas on approach I just have to experiment first - I will be in touch though if I can get you an answer

(Just for the record my forearms have been pulled apart 4 times, shins twice, and thighs twice as well - but I'm OCD with this stuff - X-army dress and deportment thing lol) -
You can do it (with a Cajun accent)

Cheers Jason - very valid point and performed a dry fit first to make sure it didn't take up too much space - I will have lots of room for Tony's goodies once I can afford them. How's your system by the way you lucky Sandy?
