  1. What kind of snaps are you using? Are those Dritz? Looks good!
  2. Congrats buddy! Always love seeing someone's BBB! Can't wait for mine from Mark!
  3. If you do shorten it though is it ok to clip off that big rib in the back? That would be my only concern with shortening it.
  4. Congrats! I too look forward to your build! You have a ton of help on here, you got this!
  5. Hello fellow troopers, I'm not sure this is the right section, but a buddy of mine is looking to join the 501st with ANH Tie Fighter Armor/Outfit. He's not looking to go the Anovos route. Does anyone know if there is a vetted list of builders for this armor? Thanks!
  6. Just my 2 cents but if you're using Humbrol paints they do tend to be thick and 'goopy'. My best results with Humbrol paints is to mix it with a bit of thinner. It goes on smoother and doesn't get all stringy when you remove tape. I believe Humbrol is an enamel paint so be sure to use thinner made for enamel paint.
  7. I think so yes. Sorry to hear that. Maybe PM them. His account on here is zhongvador.
  8. Welcome Steve! Take a look at this link below. It should provide a ton of help.<br><br> <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/'>http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/</a>
  9. I had a mini BBB day today! I ordered the exact size I normally wear and they fit perfect. I was afraid they'd be too small or tight, but they're just right! Box got a bit beat up but good quality boots!
  10. No, I ordered the exact size I usually wear. Hope it works out.
  11. Congrats guys! How long ago did you order them? I ordered mine at the beginning of April and still waiting.
  12. The backs of the calves and thighs can definitely be trimmed for comfort. I was actually just looking at the post of this fellow trooper who made Centurion and you can see the backs were definitely trimmed - http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32965-tk-88118-requesting-anh-stunt-centurion-status-ap191/
  13. Looks good man! The tears, stripes, and traps are all decals?
  14. Your builds are truly works of art Walter with all the attention to details. I'm always a big fan and always follow any updates you make. Big thumbs up!
  15. Congrats and good luck! I'm waiting for my BBB from Mark as well!
  16. Just wanted to give you props for giving me a shout out on your posting under the Newly Approved Members section. I don't feel like I did much to help you but I do appreciate the thought! I'm not able to post/reply anything on there yet And dang look at how your profile pic/info has expanded! That's awesome. I hope to be there soon!...come on Mark!...haha...jk Mark!
  17. Anyone else noticed in the Extras from TFA, especially during the table read, they kept pronouncing his first name as "Kee-Lo"?
  18. Haha..it was the day of TFA premiere. Yeah I couldn't have done it without my friends. I don't know how some troopers put on their armor by themselves. Well if you go..make us proud!
  19. Ah dang..if you were in this area and if I wasn't sick, I'd probably go with you. I rode went with friends, only had certain pieces on in the car and put on the rest in the parking lot...haha.
  20. Where are you located in CA? I've done it at both places and never had any issues minus the onslaught of people wanting to take pictures
  21. Congrats Aaron! Can't believe how quickly you finished this build. It seemed like just yesterday was BBB day for you! Just awesome!
  22. Just in case any didn't know Wave 03 is now open! Just placed my order..hopefully I got the sizing right.
