1. The first post is updated all the time and is still accurate Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
2. Everyone is jumping on TFA Stormtrooper and I'm over here waiting for TFA Snowtrooper so I know how you feel on that one Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
3. For sure, good luck and ask questions if you need
4. Also I think Danny (Mechapumpkin) wore a purple one for fan expo for his Joker/Stormtrooper costume so I guess they work
5. I always think watermarking you photos are a good idea.
6. Depending where you are there may even be people willing to just have you over to build with their help. They are called armour parties and they are an amazing thing.
7. There's something slightly serial killer about a lot of what we end up saying on this site haha. I'm rethinking my tights because of thinness too
8. Also just take a few days off of the site to think about it and calm down. That's a lot of money to spend rashly so be sure of what you're doing.
9. Hey Rev, I think you may be psyching yourself out here for no reason. At the base what you'll need to be doing is trimming to get the size you need which every new suit needs for a proper fit. 90% of this stuff can be ordered in an afternoon on here if you really want to. There are plenty of videos and post to lead you along. Please if you are going to spend 501st prices though we do have builders here who can help and I'm sure they can talk to you. in fact if you contact the armourers most of them will at least trim if not fully build for bit of a fee. So you might be able to get a fully built good quality costume for that price here. Just whatever you do don't spend high quality prices on a low quality product.
10. If you want ATA, AP is supposedly derived from the same set. One of the older TKs would be able to verify that for sure but the cost isnt that much different but the wait is like 6-10 weeks Max for AP.

Also I Don't know MTKs contact unfortunately though.
11. Now that I'm thinking more I really like the idea of the challage of trying myself. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
12. There used to be a "boss button" on one of the browsers. You'd hit Ctrl +b I think and a graph would pop up on the screen.
13. Haha I'm on my phone in my edit bay all day so maybe.
14. I think I'll just do the spacers on my thighs, seems easier than doing real shimming and they don't seem to mind it
15. Just to make sure I'm clear to everyone I'm not saying recast at all lol
16. I was going to order Darmans but now someone local may make it for me and the more that I look I'm thinking if she doesn't I may just try myself.

And I'm just going to ask Mark from AP is I can use the ones he's sending to make just myself an identical set of foam rubber hand guards. I'm scared of the latex. If he isn't I'll buy but I'd rather just pop out my own. Or even better try my hand at mold making and carve my own out. That actually sounds like so much more fun to me
17. Yeah there's going to be a day real soon where I'm going to have to send as much money to ukswrath as I am to AP for my armour lol.

I'm still needing to shim. I believe even with the built in extenions it'll need 2-4 more inches to fit and be near centurion at all
18. My Tkittell belt looks amazing. I can see why he's been making them for almost everyone on here now lol.
19. I'll take some HQ photos of Vajs when they get here Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
20. Who's tips are they? I ended up ordering the Vaj 3D printed ones yesterday Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
21. Plus I don't think it would adhere to the ABS so you'd be chancing it ratting around when you're trooping. Then there's the heat that plaster makes when it dries, does anyone know if it gets hot enough to deform a helmet? It was hot enough to be uncomfortable on my hand I think. It was a bad night so its hard to remember lol Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
22. Isn't that the stuff they make casts out of? That would be super heavy. My arm still hurts when I think about lugging around my hand cast from last winter I couldn't imagine wanting to add that to my head Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
23. There are cheaper options but his looks so nice I believe its worth the money. If I had the spare $500 CDN I'd get him to make one for me. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
24. Like right now I'm risking walking in late to make this post lol
