  1. This may also be a good time to mention that I'm slightly crazy and tend to fixate on things so the reason I'm gathering things so quickly is that this is literally one of the three things I think about all day lol. My wife and son, work, and this lol. More this than work actually but don't tell my bosses lol
  2. Wow Hans that's a tight seam
  3. I worked some OT a few weeks back so I have some extra money, it'll slow down again soon lol Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  4. Vajs 3D printed mic tips are ordered. I'm hugely interested to see them in person.
  5. Thanks Joseph,<br><br> I think that was exactly what I should have asked to start with but I didn't want to call out Darman openly on it if the answer was "no you can't get there using it."<br><br> Nice guy, don't want to f with his business lol
  6. I actually am talking with him starting yesterday and told him I'd order after I was sure if I needed the bib or not. He wasn't 100% sure if it was a centurion requirement for stunt.
  7. Thanks buddy that makes me feel better. I'm hearing a small bib makes it more comfortable so I might go with that
  8. Just bought tights on Amazon that may make me look like a sex offender if I am seen without my armour lol...
  9. Just wanted to add again how excited I am about this and remind everyone that APs now bigger
  10. Can't seem to find a totally up to date answer on this one. I know the hero suit has the bib and the CRL doesn't state that it's needed on the stunt for centurion but I want to be 100% sure.
  11. Good time to ask this before I forget, how well does e6000 stick to plasti-dip? I'll stick the hot glue back in the craft box (ah now I have to make a craft box lol) Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  12. Also I got my big white belt today! 61 inches lol. It looks great. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  13. Those three things are ones I already had lol. I added the heat gun before I realised how fast it can mess up your ABS so it'll stay packed away for sure. The sander I'll only use for the rough sanding of the shims if I go too overboard on the paste. I'll cut some 2x4 for that sanding block asap though. The glue gun I was going to use to put things in my helmet that I may want to pull out eventually. Would it be enough of a hold for that or should I just e6000 things and go with solvents if I change my mind? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. I believe that you can order online or on the phone. The 3/4 inch ones were like $31 for 20. They come in packs of 5. I'll take some pics of the pouches later tonight Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. I got them at Lee Valley. The more you buy the cheaper they are In Waterloo, only a 30 min drive Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. Thank you I'm proud of myself honestly. First time I've ever used a sewing machine but won't be the last on this build that's for sure. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. Made magnet pouches today out of clean old cotton rags. 10 sets of 3/4 inch rare earth magnets. Green pouches for positive and orange for negative then also red and black sharpie just in case I forget or go colour blind lol. I plan on also using lots of clamps and buying lots more magnets, this is just what I could get today.
  18. I also can't read apparently because I'm 3 inches shorter lol Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah its kind of nice to meet another TK around my size actually lol I'm 2 inches shorter and about 10 pounds heavier
  20. I'm going to make those satchels that someone posted a while back.
  21. I'm heading off to buy 80 rare earth magnets in the morning to make up for the slow acting E 6000 lol
  22. Also I'm making the actual garters when I finish making the thigh armour so it'll just sit here until then.
  23. So I cut a piece of 1 inch black webbing to abut 52 inches and burned the ends with a lighter. The put a plastic buckle through the block and stitched a box with an X in it like 5 times. That thing is never moving. I also made a 2 1/4 inch loop out of webbing, stitched it back and forth 5 times, flipped it inside out (not easy), and slipped it on the other side. I made sure anything that could poke me is facing out as to not ruin my under suit. At least something is done!
  24. Go Hans go! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  25. I'm 6'1 and 46" at my belly button so I'll need to shim the ab and kidney. Marks always looking around here so he will most likely answer this too lol Edit:took out an inaccurate part Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
