  1. Straps and buttons what do you think? Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
  2. ok so I can just use this side as the back? the other side does have a good return edge. Maybe I panicked a bit and maybe they were labelled wrong
  3. Ok the first time I trimmed my straps I was told I screwed up and should have left them square and with a return around the edge. They looked like this. That is supposed to be the front... Now I don't know about you but I have never seen a TK in a build thread, or a higher level application or on screen with their straps in the front cut that friggin close. I don't know what to do the other side is fine should I just flip them around?
  4. Sigh probably. I think what gets me into trouble is over confidence, excitement and a will to finish quickly. I'm going to slow down and use that attention to detail for research and taking the necessary time to do it right the first time Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
  5. oh I do own a dremel Dan lol, but thats something I do not operate under the influence In all honesty, all of my dremeling has been fine so far. Maybe that's why. Experience from cosplay and careful consideration for cuts etc.
  6. Just Drunk and clumsy most of the time lol.
  7. Sigh One of the centurions in my Garrison and staff members here said the ab plate in his opinion and to others needs that square trim around it. Might be a consideration down the road bud... He was pretty serious. at least you didn't trim your shoulder straps down to the wood!
  8. the rest of the armor pieces are fine so far no more investments
  9. I have learned that lesson twice now mark lol
  10. Now that you're done you can focus on getting me through this hell lol Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
  11. I want to get as much up to centurion perfectness off the bat so I don't need to spend the money later
  12. Against my better judgement I bought new shoulder straps and ab plate... I swear to god this is the last time in a while I'm dropping coin on this thing I'm probably easily aroun 1700 dollars on this thing...
  13. Yeah Aaron the TPE guy quoted me 220 plus 78 shipping to Canada!
  14. Right How far did you trim from the ridge circled in black and does your notch line up with the ab circled in red?
  15. Hi guys, quick inquiry about my ab armour. I cut the kidney without a hitch in conjunction with my 22mm squared notch, but I'm unsure about where to trim the ab armour to match and line up nicely. Any references or suggestions?
  16. I got the go ahead from Tony, Ukswrath and he said I should be fine! Thanks bud! I made do a little ABS paste work to square things off but I'm definitely happy I can proceed.
  17. I sanded the sides too close didn't leave much in an edge Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
  18. Are the shoulder bridges really a write off doesn't say anything in the crl or screen refs it's too hard to make out
  19. sanded like a champ, however I left a little extra just in case... like so many of my forefathers have said on this forum it's easier to take off than to add. I see an end in sight my brothers and sisters
  20. torso progress, the butt, kidney, ab, shoulder straps and ab button plate are cut and sanded. I still need to cut out out the 22mm squared notch but I got it right in the pocket. trimming the ab armor to clamshell perfectly is giving me a hard time though but I'll get it.
  21. Had to take a break for a few days no other progress At this rate I'll be lucky to have this done next year...
  22. Yep I have this one saved on a usb stick I have dedicated for build resources! Thanks guys!
