  1. Welcome Erin!! My ESB kit is by MTK and it wasn't difficult at all to fit (I'm 5'10" and 140 lbs). The most I had to cut off was from the sides of the ab plate and didn't have any trouble getting it approved. When I'm out trooping everyone assumes I'm a guy lol.
  2. I'm dying to get my hands on a Deathtrooper bucket!!!!!
  3. While I was watching the live stream from home, I squeed bigtime when I saw those deathtroopers marching on stage behind Krennic!!! That armor is spectacular!!! If I didn't already have my TK, I would definitely be building this (not going to though for lack of funds and space) but I WILL be getting one of the buckets! Can't wait to see how this plays out.
  4. -------------- I use these, along with several other TK's in my Garrison.
  5. LOL!!! Even more stuff to not ship on schedule!
  6. Too adorable!!!!!! If it was approvable, my armor would be bright pink hahaha!!!
  7. Congrats on getting your BBB! My kit's a MTK too!
  8. Hahahahaha omg I never noticed that before!!! Makes me feel better about keeping a roll of it in my kit at all times!
  9. Me too!! I'll definitely get in on the next run. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  10. Those detached cods got me like: And if those thick cover strips are indeed the same kind used in the finished movie, imagine how many times you'd have to "score and snap" them to build that armor lol.
  11. After a troop I always clean mine (inside and out) with Lysol wipes I keep in my kit, and they wipe off most scuff marks pretty easily. But like Squaddiechef said, if you just leave them on there you look like less of a newbie lol.
  12. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-Footlocker-Black/16415912 I have an itty bitty Fiat 500 and this fits in it perfectly in either the front seat, backseat or trunk. Holds it all except the bucket which I keep in its own bag.
  13. I have two sets--black satin thermal underwear for cold weather troops, and a Champion workout/yoga set for warmer weather. Got them at Walmart and Target.
  14. I am 1000% introverted, always quiet and keeping to myself. I've been really surprised at how that completely changes when I'm armor! It's got to be the anonymity factor. All of a sudden I'm outgoing and interactive with kids and the adults. Does anyone else go hoarse or lose their voice while trooping? I'm not sure if it's from having to talk louder because I don't have a mic yet (a different topic altogether ) or because I'm used to being so quiet all the time, or maybe it's both lol.
  15. Awesome collection!!!! I've always wanted to have an entire room to display all of mine, but like kwakermad said, no lotto win yet lol. I especially like your cabinets. I need to look into scoring some like that.
  16. Gaaahhhh!!!! My eyes!!!!!! They just can't take it!!!
  17. I love getting these sent to me!! So happy and proud to be part of this Detachment!
  18. I am seriously digging the Deathtroopers!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on one of the buckets. I think I'm the only one in my Garrison who hasn't dissed their look lol.
  19. Mine is my initials, MGB and my birthdate, October 16, et voilà: mgb1016! Same name I use on my Garrison, the Legion and SLD forums.
  20. Mine is my "fan-niversary," the date I saw my first Star Wars movie (ESB) for the very first time - December 18, 1997. Don't know how I remembered that, but I do lol. I started to go with 12187 but I liked each of the numbers only having one syllable, so 12189 it was. It's also why I picked an ESB TK as my first costume. I actually had the number picked out before I even got my kit!
  21. My kit's an MTK and I would also highly recommend buying from him. He had the best price of the different makers I looked into, and he replies to messages and ships fast.
  22. I keep my whole kit (minus the bucket) in one of these: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-Footlocker-Black/16415912
