  1. I've got a strip of this in both forearms and thighs: https://trooperbay.com/yellow-foam-costume-or-armor-fitting-strips Super Glue and Zap-A-Gap (hate that stuff!!) was just too messy to attach them with, plus they didn't hold (neither did E6000) so I used adhesive industrial strength velcro. Stick one piece inside the armor and the other to the foam strip, press them together and voilà. Hasn't budged once.
  2. I use the military helmet pads and they're great, and less complicated to install than a hard had liner.
  3. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic job!!!!!
  4. Holy cow this is amazing!!!!! I wish I had the talent (and patience!!!) do to something like this! It's unreal what can be done with a 3D printer.
  5. My kit's also an ESB and my biceps aren't perfect either, but the good news is the shoulder bells cover the tops of the biceps so no one will see it lol. I also have a strip of foam in each forearm to keep them from rolling around on my arms. Works like a charm.
  6. I keep mine stored in its holster and on top of my armor with my undersuit acting as a blanket between the blaster and armor. It helps keep it from sliding around freely and smacking against the armor.
  7. You don't have to paint it black, but it helps keep your face hidden in the helmet. I sprayed mine with truck bed liner to make it more durable and haven't had any trouble getting my pads and fans to stick to it with industrial strength adhesive velcro.
  8. I am so jealous. I wish I had the know-how to do this stuff!! Beautiful work!
  9. Those deathtroopers make me drool!!!
  10. Exactly like a pug!! Pugtrooper!!
  11. I agree, I love their smushed-up frown, I think it's so cute hahaha!!! Great looking build so far! Can't wait to see the rest!
  12. Glad to see people working on these!! I love the Rebels bucket with that almost smushed-up frown, it's adorable lol!!
  13. I use a $5 pair of Gorilla Gloves from Home Depot. Cheapest part of my whole kit lol. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  14. Yay!!! Someone State-side making the DT!!
  15. I got a couple of packs at Home Depot to have on hand for any future armor mods or repairs (my initial assembly was done with just plain old hand clamps). It's true about them pinching you and breaking the skin; learned that the hard way LOL!!! Turns out Altoids aren't the only thing that's curiously strong! I'll have to remember to use tape around them when I use them on my kit. I was wondering if they could possibly damage the plastic.
  16. I sprayed mine with the truck bed liner like TK4205 mentioned. Works great, and was only around $8 at Walmart.
  17. OMG Josh I can't wait to see this in person!!!! This makes me want to go play TFU again lol!! I LOVE the lighting effects!
  18. Congrats, that looks amazing!!! I've read through this thread twice and if it's already been posted please let me know, but how did you attach that trim along the outer edges of the chest/ab and back pieces?
  19. Those cover strips kill me every time I look at them...
  20. Jim, any idea yet on how much a deathtrooper bucket will be? I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed one lol!!
