1. Amazing work Kevin your hard work has really paid off.
2. Brian I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the mould however it's good that it isn't as bad as was first thought.
3. I have now added a link to allow anyone to download the M38 scope cross-hair sets that I show in post 136 (Also see posts 210 and 231 for photos of a set of cross-hairs installed). These can be printed on transparent over head projector sheets and installed in the scopes. The link can be found on the first post of this build thread. Please feel free to download and use as required.
4. Hi Bryn. Nice work on the Hengstler. The scope is also looking great so far and I do like the look of the reticle. With regard to the query about the glue personally I would go for the E6000 for the following reasons: - 1) No mixing required. 2) The bond is immediately strong enough to hold most items in place though I would still add an elastic band or similar to hold parts whilst the glue sets. 3) Despite a good immediate hold it is still possible to move the glued parts or remove them if required for a fair amount of time. Keep up the great work and i look forward to seeing your future updates.
5. I'm very impressed with your work so far Kevin.
6. I really like the attention to detail and the way this thread is going.
7. Stephen I understand that their should be two electrical connectors (one in each of the outermost positions).
8. You can also get them to send you an E-Mail when they have stock but you need to log in as quickly as possible when you get the E-Mail as they sell out quickly.
9. Kev I had great fun scratch building my own power cylinders so it's certainly worth a go. Your tent poles have a slightly larger diameter than the 9.55mm diameter brass tubes I used. It would be interesting to know if anyone knows the correct diameter of the actual screen used power cylinders.
10. Kev this is the same armour that I think I'll end up going for. Exciting times.....
11. Good start Frank glad to see that you are now underway. Best of luck with your build.
12. Hi Tino I was wondering if you were still intending to incorporate electronics in this build. One thing which I would be very interested to see would be a reworking of the electronics so that the sound effects created are say 3 or 4 times louder then the typical star wars blaster toys available.

I'm not an electronics expert by any means but assume that this may need an upgraded amplifier and or speaker/speakers........just a thought
13. This would be great to see. Brian are you able to measure the sizes of the prisms?
14. Very impressive indeed Brian. I was thinking of looking at something similar but the price of a decent real scope was a little out of my budget. Keep up the great work.
15. Kevin I think that this is the key to the FISD.......We all help each other and learn and pick up tips from the build threads of others.
16. Really impressive work Kevin and what a great build thread to read. One very quick observation if you still have chance to catch it is that the screw in the handle on post 24 should be vertical i.e. In the LOCK position. If it is already glued in it's not worth worrying about though.
17. Great idea Michael . I'll be following this thread with interest.
18. Wow Tino your quality of work and innovation continues to amaze me. I really need to set aside some time to have a really thorough read through the whole build thread do far. The other great thing about your build threads is the actual level of detail and quality of how your threads are put together.

Builds like this so tempt me to start a new build myself but I really do need to get some armour sorted first.....just need to get saved up!!!
19. Richard it's great to see that you are back on with your blaster build and have made a good deal of progress.

I also had some issues with bending my scope rail so you aren't the only one with this issue. I actually ended up snapping mine so had to build a replacement using a aluminium ruler.

I can't wait to see how the blaster looks once completed.
20. Great work so far Bryn.

I have a feeling that this will be a very good build.
21. Thanks for the kind words Kev. It was a great experience and something I'm really glad I tried my hand at.
22. Wow very impressive work.

It would be great to try to get some texture on the handle but I really like the way you have built this literally from scratch.
23. Preston - You may find post 278 on the build thread below of use for repairing your bolt lever. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32072-thrawns-guards-anh-e11-blaster-build/page-14
24. Hi Kev I'm at work at the moment so don't have access to measure things directly however when I was building my own power cylinders I also modelled them in some free 3D software called Wings 3D for reference. If you have a look at the thread below that I previously put together you can see a screenshot of what I modelled, find a download link for the free 3D software and then download the 3D model. I built the model to ensure I got the dimensions as acculturate as I could before I started building them. The software allows you to take dimensions so you can check measurements there. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/33966-free-3d-printed-parts-for-e11-builds/ If you are looking at building your own I also tried to show in my build thread a step by step guild of how I went about building mine (Post 327 onwards from the link below). http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32072-thrawns-guards-anh-e11-blaster-build/page-17
