  1. HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT THOSE COST THESE DAYS! We'll need a whip round.
  2. Good to see you getting going. Make sure you sand that blaster, 3D print lines must not be visible.
  3. Welcome to the FISD Andy!
  4. It’s due to some well intended and not well implemented legislation to protect children from graphic imagery and video. The government will not back down any time soon I wouldn’t expect. Affected site need to implement a proof of age system using card payment systems, which is not exactly great, and imgur basically don’t want to. So to prevent legal hassle they just block to the UK. Not sure why other image sites work, but that’s what’s going on.
  5. At 10 years old the plastic is going to be well past it's best, and the SDS kit is far from my favourite. Personally I'd pass.
  6. These changes are now applied to the working document I have for the NT which is in the correct format for the new CRL system. The R1 CRL was renamed to Non-Saga yesterday so will request the other CRLs be updated "soon".
  7. I'm currently trying https://freeimage.host/ which seems "pretty good actually" but will reserve judgement until I've used it a bit more.
  8. I say ish as this arrived in July, but 2025 I guess.... This is a ShearTech Rubber ANH E-11. I borrowed one of Marks at the start of the year having carried my Doopy for 9 years at that point. The lack of "oh no what if I drop it" was such a weight off my shoulder so once I got round to it a couple of months later I ordered one and it arrived in July. Where it mostly sat in a box until now. One thing I did change was the weathering. It came pre-weathered but not to my personal taste which is less is more. Most of the pre weathering was removed with IPA or acetone for stubborn areas and then I used Warhammer paints and a cheap Ali Express drybrush to repaint the slide and apply subtle weathering. The slide also got a coat of nuln oil and was then also drybrushed. I'll post some photos here. This isn't a Hyperfirm ultra idealised and perfected casting. It's a real world casting of a real Sterling, warts and all. I've also got a couple next to my Doopy Doo I built way back in 2016. ShearTech at the front, Doopy at the back.

  9. Greetings Troopers, In line with some other CRL naming the Stormtrooper - Rogue One CRL has now been renamed to Stormtrooper - Non-Saga. This will bring the CRL in line with other detachments and also allow us to consolidate the uses of the armour from Rogue One, Andor and Kenobi, as well as any future uses, meaning we will not need multiple nearly identical CRLs with trivial differences. There's some wording that still references Rogue One, this will be addressed in time. https://crls.501st.com/fisd/stormtrooper-non-saga
  10. Yes this is a good spot. If some one sends me a new image I can get it replaced.
  11. Oops forgot the back plate details: These are a few small details that would be lvl3 only, and is quite a small detail.
  12. Some of this is assumes the R1 CRL is updated to be a "non-saga" CRL as most the changes are from useage post R1. I've posted on legion about this rename. Teeth - R1, NT and artillery all already say 9. Shins (for all of R1, NT & Art) Add to L1: Shin closure is at the rear of the calf. The rear cover strip is mounted permanently to the outer half and closes over the inner half on both shins. Under Suit (for all of R1, NT & Art) Remove from L2: The hip section shall not have ribs. TD R1: "The center of both end caps is grey or white, and both must match." The wording "both" should imply both match but English isn't everyones first language so good to be a bit more specific. NT: just remove that line as they may want a grey TD as some of their grey elements. AT: no change without specific evidence. Pouldrons need to dig into that one more than I have time for today. Holster, blasters and space pack We can't add anything without a photo but if someone builds one I can help make it happen.
  13. I am currently looking at the Night Trooper CRL, which is based on the R1 CRL, so I may as well kill two birds here. I've had a look at the list Glen posted, but it's just a list of things that need updating. Not how they need to be updated. The under suit sounds like it just needs The hip section shall not have ribs. removing, anything else? For the rest I need more details.
  14. If those of you more expert than I am can gather a list of the proposed changes, I can get it done reasonably quickly. But I'll need help to get the changes.
  15. https://crls.501st.com/fisd/stormtrooper-rogue-one This is the CRL text for you to compare to as a first check. Any specific questions can be asked to the DO team. Black non-textured material, either one-piece or two-piece construction with no visible zippers or logos/designs. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Top, where visible shall be fully ribbed with all horizontal ribbing on the arms, chest, and back. The centre of chest and back may be mesh as long as it is covered by armor. Pants shall be black non-textured material and have horizontal ribbing at the knees only. Knee gaskets are allowed as long as they correctly match top ribbing material, spacing and color. The hip section shall not have ribs. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): All ribbing on knees, arms, chest, and back must be stitched between each rib in detail and proportion to official references. The armpit area shall have the correct hexagonal mesh detail
  16. What do you do when you spent a lot of money on Star Wars tooling and need to make Batman merch?
  17. Good luck with your build!
  18. Don't worry found it, though imgur is saying it's over capacity so won't let me see it. I'll try have a look tomorrow.
  19. Sorry I didn't see an album, only what was on the thread. Where was it linked?
  20. @TheSwede Certainly looks like a good start. Hard to tell some of it with out the detail images. One thing is it looks like it could use more weathering (which is a rare statement if ever there was one) but that may just be lighting and the close ups will show it's fine. Maybe have a look at the bandages/ribbons to make them slightly less uniform, check the reference first though.
  21. Sorry "it's been a week" or more accurately it's been a few weeks. I'll try have a look later!
  22. @azoroes Are you able to get an updated full suit up set of photos at all?
  23. This CRL is now live : https://crls.501st.com/fisd/captain-cardinal
