  1. You’ll find the instructions here:
  2. Don’t shorten the thighs until you have the torso complete and are 110% sure it’s necessary! I’m 5’9” and I didn’t need to shorten mine.
  3. Tony, you apparently haven't built one for a skinny-armed trooper. LOL This will help clarify what I was up against. I had to trim a lot off of my forearms to allow them to fit well. Here are the before heat gun (very tough to get a cover strip on these babies): Here is the after: I agree with the heat gun sentiments. You have to have mass respect for the heat gun, but I had really good results with it. Rat, your welcome to borrow mine and I can help you shape them if you'd like.
  4. Check my build on CCG forums. I address this issue with the Anovos forearms. I used a heat gun to reshape so I could get the cover strips to glue on flat.
  5. Rat, I’m in Washougal. I’m sure we could get together if you need help!
  6. The front cover strip should not extend down over the ridge at the bottom of the thigh. When shimming the thighs the shims should only be in the back.
  7. All the requirements are on the CRL: http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt For level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. Any shims used to achieve this effect are of a similar material and color as the abdomen and kidney armor. Shims fit flush and seams are allowed. For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. A single visible seam line is present.
  8. Gage, Be sure to check the Public Event board on the CCG forums, we've had several recent armor parties and have regular meet and greets also. http://www.cloudcitygarrison.com/forum/index.php?board=24.0
  9. I've done 50+ troops in my Anovos TK, no issues with cracking at all. One of my Garrison mates has the Anovos TX, and after 4 troops his shoulder straps were completely cracked. Depending on the size of the Trooper, and the way they treat their kit, I think the white ABS is pretty flexible and durable. Their black ABS is not good.
  10. I updated all the photo links. I'm using Flickr now.

  12. Nice to see Anovos has made some improvements since the original kits.
  13. I actually think the detachment name "Mos Eisley Police Department" maybe needs to be changed before adding new costumes. I understand it made sense in 2005, but with all the new Star Wars movies, games, etc. it's now too narrow a definition to include these new trooper types.
  14. Commander armor is based upon ROTJ, which requires a one piece kidney/butt plate.
  15. Check the Blizzard Force forums at blizzardforce.com
  16. I don't think DD provides any instructions. You'll find excellent instructions here on FISD: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32111-fisd-e-11-blaster-reference/
