  1. Mike, do you have an E-11 without a counter? Otherwise I think your all set. Really great setup Mike .
  2. One shot that is missing is the rear shot showing the butt split below the belt. One future modification I'd suggest is to shorten the straps on your drop boxes. They should almost touch the belt. Your almost there Alain.
  3. The only things I see missing are: Your blaster is missing a T-track (there should be 6). A closeup of your aerators as the AP comes with inaccurate ones. And even though it's not listed in the elite requirements I think you paint the rivets on your belt and leg pieces white. I'm sure Scott will come along with something more official. Nice job Lou, your almost there.
  4. As long as you can see the cut but plate under the belt, and take some close-up shots of a few helmet details you should be all set.
  5. That's an awesome paint job Peter. Great job.
  6. Since your selling these kits, please take it to the sale area. They do look great.
  7. Well it's been 10 weeks with 10 new elite troopers since post #1 of this thread. Great job troopers. So how is everyone doing, and what mods do you have left to achieve elite?
  8. No worries, better to have it posted twice than miss it.
  9. I think it was posted around here a few weeks ago. It's the same helmet as the MR LE.

I can honestly say that this has been one of the slowest weeks I can remember. Websense must be affecting a large number of our regular members.
  11. Thanks. No one needs to call me Boss though, the 501st has a lousy pay scale.
  12. No problem Scott, I just have to sweet talk the wife again (it's not that hard).
  13. The ab buttons, side gaps, and canvas belt upgrades are elite standards, not 501st ones. But the mods must be done to the MR CE to be 501st acceptable.
  14. Looks like your almost 501st ready.
  15. You'll have no problems getting into the 501st with your rig. It won't be long now.
  16. It's made from the ABS strips that come with the FX kit to make your belt and shims out of. So 80 gauge ABS to answer your question.
  17. Thin, thanks for the compliment but I'm 210 lbs. I made the side panels a year ago when I was about 15 lighter, and had to suck it in to make the gap disappear. I have to loose that 15-20 and keep it off since I hope to upgrade this summer.
  18. My wonderful wife took my elite pictures tonight. She didn't notice that my belt had slid down and armor had shifted to cover the butt plate seam. Here are the rest:
  19. The things that I noticed right off the bat are your side gaps are not closed, your ab buttons are oversized, and your blaster is missing the counter. Overall your TK looks good, your getting there .
  20. Well you may want to check out the clone forums. They are Clone Troopers Network, and Clone Empire. You will get more info that you probably thought possible.
  21. Actually I don't think we know. It comes from ANH when the officer radios the Luke an says "TK421 why aren't you at your post, TK421 do you copy." From that line, all stormtroopers are TKs.
  22. Don't buy it, don't buy it, don't buy it. He is a recaster who has a very shady criminal history.
  23. Orange peel has nothing to do with painting. It's caused from ABS being overheated when forming. When it occurs you can usually sand the worst off if it's minimal, but that's a bandaide fix for a piece that should be scrapped. Now when painting, yes holding the can to far away can cause a grain like surface to appear. It's from the paint partially drying in the air before it hits the surface. Other things that can cause paint to go bust is painting when the humidity is very high or low. The other thing is the timing of applying multiple coats, this varies greatly from paint to paint.
