I have been on FISD for about 8 months and everyone has been beyond helpful. This month I got my TK ID and EIB badge and couldn't be more exited to get out there on more troops. In the spirit of trooper helping troopers I believe that everyone should pay it forward. I have received help from a number of members and would not hesitate to help others as much as I can. I am pretty sure the drop box aligns with the absolute edge of the belt.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Thanks and appreciate the feedback. I will hunt down some pan head screws. I have been thinking about cutting/sanding the top of that strip. My back plate isn't usually so lopsided. But I still think I need to shorten the straps a little. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Allan1313's poor man's DLT-19 build

Today I did some work on the conical disc area. So I cut a piece of wood and used the dremel to sand the shape of the grip. I think I will be using magnets to attach it to the grip so that I can pop it in and off to have access to the battery compartment. That will come later, need to test some magnets out. I would be weary about buying a kit without it being fit to your body. If it's not right you will have to fix it. Go with a kit and learn to build, it's fun. I have an Anovos kit and have been approved.

I am finished with the rear sight. The project is nearing completion. Only a few more details then onto painting. -
Cool thanks! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Forgive me if this has been covered, but would the tears/traps pass for centurion as they came out the box as emulating "hand painted" decals? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Thanks guys. As far as the wood goes, it was mainly just a band saw for the large cuts and a little hand saw for the finer details. Here is a pic with my little E-11 until I can finish this. -

Got a little work done on the rear sight. So far so good. Also got some other good news, got my Anovos kit approved. TK-97491 ready for action. Now I just need to get the DLT-19 done. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -
