    The MRCE is totally wearable. Do a google image search, or even look around this very board, you'll see troopers with modified MRCE helmets. It just takes a little searching.

    AP offers "seconds" helmets, which are regular helmets with very very minor defects, like a blemish or something somewhere, for about 175.

    If I end up going with a new FX kit rather than something else, I'd be happy to trade for your old style thighs!

    It says it's made from fiberglass, like the pink one. Usually when you see the words fiberglass it's a recast. The details are pretty soft. And to me the frown and brow look messed up, along with the molded-on ears.

    Looks like he's selling more recast AP helmets. Take a look at his sandtrooper.

    You could possibly wire the button differently with an extension of some sort so you could have it in the palm of your hand and activated when you press it against your blaster or something.

    There was a picture comparison around here a little while ago, and I'd say it LOOKS to be inbetween TE2 and AP. Lemme see if I can dig up the pic/thread.
