  1. Hey everyone, before building my own TD, I had a friend request I build and paint his RS TK helmet for him, with free range on how I wanted it to look. So for practice I opted to assemble and paint it as best I could in the Stop That Ship helmet as it has my favorite look and will eventually be what I build my TD into. This was my first time assembling a helmet myself and attempting to replicate a specific TD helmet. This is also posted on MEPD.net but that place is pretty dead so I'm going to post it here for feedback and also my own upcoming personal armor build for whenever I place that order... Thanks for looking!
  2. Pretty sure the whole recast claim was discussed elsewhere on this board. And now I can see why.
  3. Actually your belt seems to be sitting a tad too low as well.
  4. Your handguards are on incorrectly. Looks great as far as I can tell.
  5. Decided to do a scratch build Star Destroyer.
  6. The AT-AT was a STEAL. I picked it up for US$25 including shipping! Not expecting that for the Star Destroyer but I can hope! I'll post some pics when it gets here. My FineMolds 1/72 Tie Fighter arrived in the mail today, was very excited to get it.
  7. Alrighty, so I've successfully ordered my AT-AT, now I'm on the look out for an MPC Star Destroyer. Hoping to not pay the 70-150 dollars that most of ebay is asking, but I understand its rare.
  8. Wait Ron contacted someone that was posting on that Facebook thread? Wow.
  9. Can you remember if it was average sized or super tiny like the micro machines?
  10. I've been searching for quite a while now for a specific one, it's not the Revell one with the bent knee/leg thing, but it's got (I THINK) 2 legs in meeting in the center on one side, with the other 2 spread apart. Or it comes custom poseable based on how you super glue it together. I'm not sure on the manufacturer for it, but I'd appreciate any help looking for it. Thanks you

  12. Looks fine to me. For the left ear on the picture showing the bottom of your helmet you'll probably just need to trim the inside ring a little bit.
  13. It looks as though you have two sides from opposite shins glued together.
  14. Note the larger boot is a size 10 or 11, mine is a size 9.

  16. Michael's may have some that you're looking for. In the section with the industrial strength velcro.
  17. Anybody interested in comparison pics of the old and new TKBoots?
  18. Cut out a small square of plastic. Attach the snap to the plastic square, then secure the square to the armor with E6000.
  19. Would e6000 be suitable for the shoulder bell strap or is there a fabric glue or something that would be better suited for it?
  20. Ah I see what you're talking about now. I have the rivet on the bottom of the thigh pack through the raised edge. I guess I just didn't want the thigh pack to interfere with my shin like the sniper plate affects the thigh.
  21. The belt is on correctly, it just doesn't have the heat bend to it. I'm honestly a little nervous to bend anything. The ammo pack on the thigh just looks weird in the pictures. It's also on correctly. Any ideas on how to secure the elastic thats supposed to go around the bicep from the shoulder bell? I ran out of snaps. :c
