Is the first one AP and the second TE2? Also, for the first one, how hard would it be to remove whatever glue they have in there to replace the lenses? For some reason it looks REALLY happy to me, and I'm looking for something meaner, like the second link, I think its the lenses. ------------

I prefer asymmetry rather than the MR CE helms, I just thought it looks funny how it gave the illusion of it sliding off. I wasn't knocking your work.

Awesome. Last question since I'm pretty much done with it after this! I don't think I let the primer sit long enough, because I just went over it with the glossy white and its starting to get all wrinkly and cracked? Do I just wait for the paint to sit and then sand it, reprime and repaint?

I say stick with ANH. It just looks meaner and cleaner. Black frowns just don't tickle my fancy.

Just got my helmet primed! a few coats of primer. Not sure how many I put on it. I'm gonna sand it and then prime it one more time, THEN paint it. Sound good? Also, do I use the same color gray for the teeth that I do for the ears, tears and traps?

Haha I overreacted. I did the right thing. ANYWAYS, with the new white blasters, do I have to sand the whole thing down and then paint it and THEN attach the resin kit? I feel like if I just attach the resin kit and then paint it the white will show through

I've got the reattachment of the trim down then. ONE more quick question, inside, is the paint PRIMER or just regular paint? I'm assuming just gloss/flat black primer.

Yes, thats exactly what happened! But, I shaved off some plastic from the bottom of the brow and now it slips under ever so slightly.

I fixed the brow today! I'm really excited because now it just looks REALLY NICE. Rubber trim is only elevated slightly, but its a noticeable improvement. Thanks for your encouragement guys! I took your advice, Heatshock and just trimmed up the brow with the blade and the rubber trim fit again! The putty hardened over the ear hole that I made so it looks alright now. Just gotta sand the entire thing and paint it. I need some help removing the aerators though, any tips? Also, how do you guys attach the rubber trim to the brow and neck again?

I'm starting to feel a little more confident again. Would a Testors hobby nice work the same as the knife you used in the pics? I should have some pics up soon.

I guess I could cut the original brow into an Lshape and that would pretty much correct the last problem that I have. I don't have a camera other than a camera phone, so I can't really upload detailed pics yet. sorry. Basically... ___________ <Original brow _;-----------;_ < new brow but where all the dashes are the plastic is so close to the base helmet that the trim can't fit under like it used to.

Its not the brow trim I messed up, its the whole brow. I can't get the part of the rubber to fit into the gap anymore.

I'm hoping it'll look better when painted. Also, I'm priming the inside gray, is that alright? Or is black still the better choice? I can run out and get some black, but gray is all I have on hand. ALSO, where did you get your ears? Ebay? EDIT: I'm done. I just messed up the brow too, brow trim doesn't fit anymore! I'm so bad/sad. I'm just going to buy another one later. Maybe a TE2 preassembled so that I just have to paint it. UGH. Might just toss it.

Just screwed up on fixing the ears. I now have a hole in the side, currently stopped up with bondo.

I just dremelled off the tip of my blaster. Then I looked at your mod. I think I messed up. Should I use bondo to cover it up or dremel off the rest and then bondo over it and attach the kit blaster tip to it?

I went to the hardware store the other day and found types like coarse, fine etc etc. Do the sandpapers you're talking about come in a specific grain?

What grit sandpaper should I use to sand down helmets and whatnot to prime them for painting?

How large are these buckets in comparison to the MR CE? Smaller? Slightly larger?
