  1. Good to have you still with us, mate! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don’t wear my current glasses with my TK helmet, however my previous pair had a “sports frame”. They were a narrower frame, with the arms quite close/tight. I could wear those quite comfortably under a TK bucket, as well as a fencing mask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Happy holidays to all, whichever and however you celebrate, to you all and yours [emoji4] This is truly a unique, and inclusive space. Well done to all for making it so! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Phenomenal! Well done! Do you have a build thread somewhere? Would love to hear/read what your build process was. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I use a Stanley BigMax mobile tool box. A bit of Tetris and it fits a full TK plus helmet. Most importantly it fits in the boot of my car (a VW Golf) [emoji4] https://www.stanleytools.com.au/products/detail/PRODUCTS/STORAGE/Tool+boxes/FatMax%C2%AE+ProMobile+JobChest%E2%84%A2 I believe many, if not most, of our US brethren use Husky cases. 6. G’day Matt I intro’ed myself over on KFG, but great to see you here. Defo in the best place for all the right info and guidance. I’m the FISD Attaché to KFG so feel free to reach out for any local advice. Cheers Rudi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. G’day from Melbs Always great to see more Aussies here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Haha, I “upgraded” my printer which lead to other issues… such as it not working [emoji23] And then I got distracted by another costume build [emoji2361] I should be back to this one in a couple of months though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Looks great, mate! Enjoy Nova this weekend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi Matt Welcome from Melbourne! You’re in good hands with the RBG [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. ALDI’s compression wear range is pretty good too for the price. It’s logo free too, and cheap enough that you can buy a few sets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Fantastic! Thanks Joseph. I could make some comment about the inside yellowing first, but this is a family show [emoji23] lol I’m amazed how quickly my Anovos armour is yellowing (not to mention stress cracks). It’s not exposed to UV much and stored in the crate when not in use, yet I’m still seeing minor discolouration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Nice one Peter. I posted the question over on PFD but will do so here for those not following along there: is this something you bought locally or online? Any recommended resellers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Do you mean the fabric the snap is set in? I used e-6000 to glue it to the ABS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I think raising the abdominal and butt/kidney plate grouping might help too. The cod piece should cup the family jewels. If you shorten the connecting straps between the chest and backplate, these will be raised up, as well as the ab/kidney/butt. Noting that for basic approval the backplate can have minimal overlap over the kidney plate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. G’day and welcome from Melbourne, Australia, Bart. Condolences for your loss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. When shopping for snaps, I find spending a bit more on quality snaps is a good idea. I had cheap ones from the local haberdashery store and they started popping loose. I replaced them with good quality sporting/yachting snaps and I haven’t looked back [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I thought I’d done so already, but congrats Andrew! FISD is defo one of my top 16 favourite detachment forums [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yes, you can buy the files via his Etsy store: ----------
  20. Imperial Surplus does one too. I think it’s the TFA version, but it’s a nice looking kit (I’m helping a garrison mate build one). https://imperialsurplus.com/product/first-order-stormtrooper/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Awesome tip and quick bite tutorial@JustJoseph63 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Awesome photos! Hope you sent these to the Detachment PRO too [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks for putting another great newsletter together, Glen. And thanks again for the coin run, James. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. G’day John Welcome from Melbourne. You’re in good hands with the RBG crew. Looking forward to following your progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Not everyone has the budget to burn on a Vader costume. It can easily run 4-5 times the cost of a TK.
