ALDI’s compression wear range is pretty good too for the price. It’s logo free too, and cheap enough that you can buy a few sets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Possible Solution to Yellowing Armor
tarok replied to stoner529's topic in Getting Started - Read this First!
Fantastic! Thanks Joseph. I could make some comment about the inside yellowing first, but this is a family show [emoji23] lol I’m amazed how quickly my Anovos armour is yellowing (not to mention stress cracks). It’s not exposed to UV much and stored in the crate when not in use, yet I’m still seeing minor discolouration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Possible Solution to Yellowing Armor

Nice one Peter. I posted the question over on PFD but will do so here for those not following along there: is this something you bought locally or online? Any recommended resellers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Do you mean the fabric the snap is set in? I used e-6000 to glue it to the ABS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think raising the abdominal and butt/kidney plate grouping might help too. The cod piece should cup the family jewels. If you shorten the connecting straps between the chest and backplate, these will be raised up, as well as the ab/kidney/butt. Noting that for basic approval the backplate can have minimal overlap over the kidney plate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When shopping for snaps, I find spending a bit more on quality snaps is a good idea. I had cheap ones from the local haberdashery store and they started popping loose. I replaced them with good quality sporting/yachting snaps and I haven’t looked back [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where can I buy a First Order Kit?
tarok replied to Purdue Stormtrooper's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Imperial Surplus does one too. I think it’s the TFA version, but it’s a nice looking kit (I’m helping a garrison mate build one). https://imperialsurplus.com/product/first-order-stormtrooper/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

WHY BE HARD ON NEWBIES (ARMOR)
tarok replied to Tallguy's topic in Getting Started - Read this First!
Not everyone has the budget to burn on a Vader costume. It can easily run 4-5 times the cost of a TK. -
Super slow [emoji23] Got distracted by another project, then had a printer issue which I haven’t had time to remedy. That said, I’ve printed 2 of the smaller boxes and the cup. Radio box is being printed as 4 parts, of which 2 are done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bunnings sells the split rivets. [emoji6] How many you after? I may have some spares you can have. Pick up after Uncle Dan lifts lockdown [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why are you wanting to raise the thighs? They look high already. You can probably trim some of the return edge at the top of the thighs though to give yourself some space. I don’t see how the ammo strap/pouch can be rubbing your calf given the gap between the 2 parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

G’day Steve You’re in good hands with Glenn and the WA crew. I’m over in Melbourne, but give us a hoy if you need any advice or help [emoji4] I bought my compression stuff from Aldi. Obvo it doesn’t get as hot here, but it does the job and at the price point its cheap enough to buy a couple of sets [emoji6] Cheers Rudi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's the one I've got. Wasn't cheap, but worth every cent.
