  1. This is what you are looking for: https://www.amazon.com/E6000-230010-Craft-Adhesive-Ounces/dp/B007TSYNG8%3Fpsc%3D1%26SubscriptionId%3DAKIAJJY2YKHHLJKYIBNA%26tag%3Dslk03b1-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB007TSYNG8 Not sure if you are in the U.S., but be careful where you buy it from. There are certain online sellers (including Europe) that are selling FAKE E-6000. The genuine product is clearly marked Made in the USA, and has a batch number on each tube. They do not sell to distributors in China or Hong Kong, so if you order from a seller there, it is probably not the real stuff. If you have any doubts, you can contact the manufacturer at www.eclecticproducts.com, and they will let you know where to get it. The fake stuff is garbage. If you live in the U.S., the best places to go are Michael's or a reputable craft store. My Supply List may help you as well: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31404-supply-list-for-your-tk-build/
  2. +1 for Tim's comments. These are the kind of troops that make you glad you are wearing a bucket... just in case the lenses fog up a bit, if you know what I mean. Great job, Old Line Garrison.
  3. Perfectly organized bench, Jon! Looks like you are well on your way to a great build. What happened with the PB tutorial I sent you, LOL? Your post should have the photo in it, like this: If you are still having trouble, PM me.
  4. Can't go wrong with ATA, Caleb. Great customer service and a high quality product!
  5. Vielen Dank, Christian .. Guter Punkt über die Stiefel!
  6. Thanks, Paul! I learn something new every day on here!!
  7. It may need a few adjustments, but you should be able to apply for EIB right after your basic approval, then Centurion. You should check out the Advanced Tactics section as well, and look over some of the submission threads (especially the RS ones*) which will give you a good idea of what to expect. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/113-advanced-tactics/ *Here is one example: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/39219-tk-12513-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status-rs-651/
  8. Here is a brief explanation for ya' : http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35371-eib-and-centurion-what-do-these-terms-mean/
  9. Hopefully you will be shooting for Centurion, Curtis. Unfortunately, I don't think that double cap rivets will be allowed on the ab plate/ kidney connection for level 3. The heads on those are more rounded than the split rivets, which are almost flat (see photo). To be screen accurate, the only place you should need the double caps are to connect the thigh ammo pack. If you need a set of the split rivets, just PM me and I'll shoot you them out to ya'. For better adhesion, be sure to sand the tops down before painting them.
  10. Welcome, Skyar! There are literally hundreds (maybe thousands) of approved Troopers out there who had absolutely zero experience building anything that ended up with great looking sets of armor. It all comes down to research, patience, research, time, and research. Yes, I said research 3 times.... it's that important. You can't be in a rush building a TK kit, and there are hundreds of people here to help you every step of the way. If you decide to go with the RS Props, they make a fantastic set of armor. VERY screen accurate, and pretty much Centurion level ready right out of the box, (but you will have to apply for EIB first). The Anovos pre-built seems pricey to me. Plus, there is a wait, and as of now replacement parts are not available if needed. RS also has a fantastic reputation of great customer service. Whichever route you choose, we look forward to welcoming you to the 501st and FISD!
  11. Agreed, Brian. Unless you are Trooping in Antarctica, I would steer clear of neoprene, Jon. I have Trooped in 55 degree weather with just my regular compression suit and still managed to sweat a bit. This is the type of under suit shirt you will need: https://www.amazon.com/DRSKIN-SABB01-Compression-Tight-Running/dp/B00RMI80GE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480602395&sr=8-1&keywords=black+compression+shirt+men and pants: https://www.amazon.com/HEAD-Mens-Compression-Black-Large/dp/B011RTG4QQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1480602478&sr=8-3&keywords=black+compression+pants+men If the logo shows under your armor, you may have to wear them inside out or take a black Sharpie to it. They also make these in a one piece, but personally I prefer the separate top and bottom, just in case nature calls.
  12. Hallo Axel!
  13. WAY TO GO, Shawn! You gotta look at this this way, at least you know the specific issues to deal with, which makes it easier. I have every faith that you can get those changes done in no time, and look forward to your Centurion submission!
  14. You can cut them down with a hacksaw, Kurt. The ends can be rounded off and smoothed down with common sandpaper, which is what I used. Start with a rough grit (80) to round them off and remove the burrs, and then go to a 220 grit to finish and smooth them out them. It should take you less than 10 minutes to do. Almost there!!!!!!
  15. If you could post some photos that would be really helpful, Josh. I would also get in touch with Ben (DragonTrooper). He is the Imperial Attache for Squad 7 (N.E. Florida), and can be of assistance as well. If you haven't already done so, I would recommend signing up at the Florida Garrison's site and introducing yourself. Lots of great folks up there, and perhaps one of them is having an armor party you could attend.
  16. Wow....Just noticed something, Shawn. The "vent" covers and bottom of the cone need to be painted with the "Silver Fox" color spray paint. I will send you a partially used can free of charge, which will be more than enough to cover these areas. Just PM me.
  17. ABS can vary widely in color, but for hand guards you should be fine with most any shade of white.
  18. Nope, it definitely wasn't me that wished I didn't paint them. I did it in multiple thin layers, and they aren't crusty at all!
  19. I have a set of partially trimmed Anovos hand guards I could get to you for $10.00 (including shipping) or you can go for a set of my latex ones: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35702-latex-hand-guards-for-centurion-level-anh/ PM me if interested.
  20. Getting close, Kurt! Those are the exact same pouches I ordered, and to get them black was pretty easy. Instead of using dye (which I was afraid might bleed onto my armor from constant rubbing) I picked up 2 spray cans of plain black flat paint. Nothing fancy, just the least expensive they had : ----------- and it has worked out great. I masked off the leather straps on the front (AND back) and applied several light coats, letting it dry between each coat. Dozens and dozens of troops later and no smudges. Another thing you want to think about is finding something to fill out the actual pouches when complete, otherwise they look flat. I used some strips of foam, 1 x 2 x 6 covered in black electrical tape. Lightweight and effective. If I can be of any help, just let me know!
  21. I think this is one of the best parts of my armor I have ever invested in, Shawn: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29991-thigh-garter-system/?hl=%2Bthigh+%2Bgarter+%2Bsystem It takes all of 20 seconds to put the belt on and attach the thighs. They have never slipped once, even after an 8 hours troop.
  22. Quick indeed! Congrats, Chris! PM incoming..
  23. Hello, Troopers! As a continuing part of the FISD anniversary, I am having a photo contest, and the prize is a brand new (with tags) official Disney Imperial cog jacket, as seen below. The jacket will be available in either medium or large only, and the contest is open to all members of the FISD. Here is the lowdown: 1. You must submit 2 photos of yourself in full TK armor. One inside a grocery store with a cart, and the other in the toy section of a store holding a Stormtrooper figurine, (any size). 2. The first Trooper to post both photos in the same post on this thread wins the jacket, which includes free shipping, no matter where you live. 3. The contest starts today, and will run until someone claims the prize, or Dec. 31st, whichever comes first. These jackets are really nice, (retail $60.00), and are perfect for sewing patches on, displaying your pins, or even having your name/TK # embroidered on. Please note that I do not have these for sale. So get suited up, get out there in public, have some fun and show your FISD spirit!
