  1. when vetted sellers promote their FISD linked sales, it's all "in house" D day and I are examples of sellers who are FISD approved. thus we have the option of putting links to OUR OWN sales threads. such as the links listed in my signature.
  2. most of the screen used helmets have flashing on the top of the eyes. and most stunts have flashing all around the eyes with knife cuts very angled. the hero eyes were trimmed only a little better than the stunts.
  3. changing the chat permissions will likely increase it's use! lot's better than sending PM's back and forth! glad to see that happen!
  4. no silver on the counter front only brass. too much silver on this whole gun bolt is the wrong color where is the bayonet lug flat area? price is way too high! real scope and counter see how the T Tracks enter the shroud?
  5. another way is to melt and shape some plastic and glue it on the inside.
  6. when you rubb the parkerized finish off of the steel, it can rust.
  7. velcro at the back holding it to the kidney plate is really helpful. I actually connect the entire belt to the abdomen plate with screw posts. really adds a dimension of attachment beyond snaps. they just don't move or come apart! ever!
  8. the top of the kidney plate should align with the top of the abdomen plate. on screen used armors there is a slight downwards angle on belts from back to lower in front. it's not always horizontal. also I align the center of the plastic belt by using either velcro or a screw post that goes though my armor in the center front. then I use velcro on the inside of my belt at the back, attaching to the kidney plate in the correct locations.
  9. novus 3 novus 2 and then finally novus 1 takes the surface off. takes a long time. builds arms and muscle@!
  10. if you look closely at mark's boot tutorial he does a bit of trial and error and changes his materials during the course of the how to! the end result is ok but he changes gears angelus leather paint works much better! smooth and clean!
  11. try this? ----------
  12. no way. never no more.
  13. my point is that the DO should consider the language used does NOT mean fully glued! for any level not just base acceptance! the CRL does NOT say fully glued! it's just covering the no visible gap! EIB and centurion do not say glued this is a misconception! and the sniper knee should always be kept with rivet or without we should never remove the word ideal from the CRL we must have variety that is the spirit of the language used! if the original authors of the CRL wanted it glued then they would have used those words! the shins also say fully closed? does that mean we glue those? nope! see my point?
  14. it's from this image? would this be considered the "TD"?
  15. I read that to mean that there is no visible gap! it does not say "Fully glued!" thighs say fully closed too! not fully glued! I personally think this is a mis interpretation of the referance! the language actually allows for both glued and clamshell there has to be some variety placed into the language "fully closed"
  16. we shall all stand together and overcome our lack of faith! RMQ armor... oh lordy! I would love to see the armor have this type of detail. it reminds me of the ab plate bottom on a tk. the top shoulder detail looks like a volume knob. you can see the notch detail at the top of each circle.
  17. it's the real deal!
