a chiropractor won't give you pills. they will simply x ray you, and adjust your spine. problem solved... in my case at least. you don't need to ask permission to get a massage with a happy ending? you don't need permission to go to a chiropractor.

don't ask about a chiropractor. GO IN and have the treatment.

chiropractor? It's bad when it effects the ability to walk, or breathe, or talk. I'm sure if you've had a back injury it CAN be a cause of digestive distress. the nervous system travels though our spine, and it has every aspect of our body involved. I'm going to have ultrasound massage, heat/ice therapy and weight training to try to recover. in addition to adjustments to the mechanical location of all my vertebre and ribs. I once had a PT give me a styrofoam tube to roll on to adjust my spine. result: totally dislocated ribs and chest. solution: chiropractor. diagnosis: the PT injured me greatly and only added to my soft tissue damage. ligature does not heal. it only scars the reason for my injury is complex: past injury. a strange set of circumstances: cough, gag reflex spinal subluxation. muscle lock/cramp resulting in a dislocated spine, a strained set of chest muscles and a sprained diaphram. hurts to breathe, hurts to talk. did I mention I love to type?

AP was cast from an original suit used as a "tour" suit. Then cleaned up and modified to look more anh. the helmet, ears and armor have a really clean, powerful and strong aspect. The GF lineage of sculpts shows that a suit was found in a trash can at elstree studios and went though a series of re-sculpts and modifications to bring it closer to ANH in the beginning of the armor production for 501st members we had TE and AP styles. one of the longest running armor makers. in the beginning TE and CAP offered the bumpy cap and armor. RS props is cast from a sandtrooper set of armor, with certain parts resculpted by TM. some parts were missing- sniper knee, shoulder bridges, and other parts were re-created. essentially the RS props suit is much more of a direct representation of a sandtrooper suit. the RS props sandtrooper suit was then repainted and made into a standard stormtrooper suit and is shown running down the tantive 4 hallway. the armor comes with bumps, waves and imperfections cast from the original. all the sandtrooper scenes were shot, then armor was repainted and used in other scenes..

Shoulder bells seem to drift back... any advice?
TK bondservnt replied to anphrax's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
I cheat by putting velcro at the top of the shoulder bell strap and put it between the bell strap and the shoulder bridge. this keeps the bell strap locked in place. snap strap and smokin' velcro! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/37-howto-create-a-bicep-strap-hook/ -
Shoulder bells seem to drift back... any advice?
TK bondservnt replied to anphrax's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
the original suits didn't have a strap across the back. the solution is placement of the snap at the top of the shoulder, putting the snap forward instead of in the middle of the shoulder bridge. I also connect the shoulder bell to the front of the bicep and keep my biceps rotated. and finally the screen accurate way of putting the forearm attached to the bicep completes the rotation and placement issue. I would not cut of the return at the base of the shoulder. your straps need to be shorter, the shoulder bells should point outwards and not follow a vertical line, more of an angle. -

it won't matter when you're wearing your lid and feeling for it. just put it in the standard location. putting it lower only makes it look wrong, we're going for standarization, not customization. -

keep them 4" and only with a 1" gap below the belt. your height has little to do with the placement. it's not a quickdraw anyway! -

all you need to do to modify the design to make it even better strap 12" instead of 11" use chicago screws for the top strapping instead of rivets. for the handle strap use a cap rivet after fitting the blaster. -

How to dye leather shoes black?
TK bondservnt replied to Rebel Doughboy's topic in Non Star Wars Costuming
I believe that rubber might accept the paint. If I were going to paint rubber I'd want to research the type of rubber and how it would match the paint used. you have to match materials closely, that's how painting works! it would have to be tested. -

stuff works much better than dye. it's flexible acrylic paint. don't think about dye at all... that's for untreated leather. the 4oz bottle has a ton of application ability. the paint goes on very evenly and does not show though. you could probably do knee top boots and probably has enough for 2 pairs of knee top boots. -

if you simply use angelus leather paint you don't need to do anything but paint it, and then seal it. why use some stuff not made for the purpose? angelus leather paint does not crack peel or come off. I used it on my TK boots for my TX. works on nylon elastic too! I don't know why people think they have to use paints that come off. it's a no brainer. use the above paint, and if you want it gloss or matte you can also get the sealer for those applications from the same company. -
