  1. my goal is stun and red colors on the single sided propagation ray. blastercore 3 is different.
  2. the propagation ray leds are only on one side. in my version. only the open holes on an E-11 on the lower left side. the PDF has 2 led's on each side... and I only want one side. blastercore 4 allows for multi-color propagation ray side barrel colors.
  3. I want the blastercore to have propagation ray in blue and red. depending upon the range setting. stun and regular blast.
  4. so from my description I need the satelite board, and will need the proper leds for the main flash and the propagation ray leds. since I want the color change in both the propagation ray and the main flash. this according to me needs to have different resistor values and led values. the PDF describes 2 red led's in the propagation ray per SIDE. and this is INCORRECT I only want one side of multicolor leds. see... this is a great example of how the PDF is not exactly correct for how e-11's are to be made.
  5. chris sounds like he might be able to help... is this the case?
  6. I want to use red propagation ray when main flash is called. I want to use blue flash when propagation ray is called for stun.
  7. I'll still have to figure out how to wire the hall sensors to a real sterling trigger group... but I guess the critics will say that the exact instructions are included in the PDF? LOL.
  8. what I want: A propagation ray barrell wired up. with color change for blue and red. a barrel tip led wired up for stun and main flash. a full wiring diagram and resistors and capacitors for a battery bay and charging system. no critics can help... only real troopers helping troopers.
  9. I want a listing of parts that are used in an EXISTING AND WORKING BLASTERCORE INSTALL.
  10. I have read the PDF. and it does not cover all the details..
  11. can you show me the Hall sensors... do you know how to wire up a satelite board? the PDF that irvin has on his site is not complete... do you have a working blastercore in your blaster and want to help. ?? no other posts are worth my time.
  12. I want help to wire up a barrel with propagation ray. I want help to balance my leds and resistors.
  13. I want only people who have a blastercore and can help.
  14. not gonna touch that one! hehe! :pint1:
  15. well.. my main interest is in getting the battery voltage, resistors and led's all from the correct suppliers. and getting all the math and setups correctly assigned. I don't know how to adjust the details for battery, resistor and led setup. that's my main problem. can anyone give a list of exactly where they purchased all the items needed? I don't want to blow up my board? can anyone wire me up a propagation ray led setup on a pvc pipe and send it to me?
  16. the best location to trim is under the chin area. only need to cut less than 1/4" off right near the chin. don't cut near the ears. are you using the twist on motion for putting on your helmet? Turn helmet sideways and twist on as you lower the lid.
  17. Does anyone here have a parts list for all the extra parts they used to install a blastercore? if you have a list with suppliers it really would help out! post schematics and photos if you can! I need help from someone who could solder up a barrel LED setup? anyone interested in having me pay you to wire up a propagation ray? I'd also like to see battery setups, and capacitor setups. I'm not really good at all with electronics!
  18. very small but it is the thought that counts!
  19. the result is not as accurate as making castings from the real thing. nothing beats dropping the original parts in rubber and making easy replicas. the 3d process, and cad files that are not accurate will only produce a costly set of parts that can be done for far less than the hassle and not to mention the fact that most times when people make cad files, they make mistakes! or worse yet they make changes "for their own reason". we have the DVH resin kits for the most accurate version besides the doopy do. most low cost abs printers make soft mush looking blobs of abs. for a higher cost type of material you only get a smoother surface. usually 3d printed parts are cast in rubber anyway for production. so it's really a non issue with considering 3d printing. it's 200.00 for a spool of abs and that probably would not print out an entire blaster. the largest print sized 3d printer would have to have a 22" platen. most platens are only 18" and at 29.000.00 that's twenty nine thousand dollars you could never make enough blasters to cover that expense. and that's not counting materials, and electricity to run it.
  20. he modded the design quite a bit? 3d printers can be rented by the month... but the materials are costly
  21. do we have a mock up layout of an armor tree? could we start to populate the entries?
