Hey troopers. With the recent FOTK build I have done and also seeing Disney kits up close. I am unsure if the new Anovos kits will be like this. The yoke is two piece's with the front and back attaching via magnets. The Disney kits are molded and made for universal fiment and easier to get on the actors. They are not screen accurate for TFA as we all know the yoke should be seamless.. either way having the split on the yoke does make it easier to get the costume on. .

Jim kits are not accurate and heavy made from fiberglass. Anovos is slimmer design sharper detail. But the wait can be forever. KB kit is a bit larger sized for bigger people, but his latest version is not accurate, he also will forget to send certain prices out so your stuck without a full kit and trying to contact him over and over for shipping info or missing parts. Good luck on the build. I have seen all the FOTK kits and approved in the first KB kit which was more accurate.

Does anyone have a photo of this so called peter O tool guy? It would help eliminating to pointing fingers and get straight to the point if this so called armor is recasted of KB's.<br><br> I can tell in some of the armor pics the armor does look pretty similar.

Been looking at this since day one and Agreed. Same snowtrooper backpack is used.<br> Also think connecting it to the vest is a good idea.<br> No reason to wear the back pack without the vest anyway.<br> Now we wait to see the master of TFA Modifications, to make this happen. :-)

Just an update on this.<br><br> Ended up getting a nice set made from another member here. Cannot recall who at this time. Added pieces of square shaped foam inside for a filler, and able to remove the foam as needed to hold Cell phone, keys, etc.they work great.

I used a basic AR stock. Nothing fancy. Paint it right and no one will tell. Plus the blasters do not have to be screen accurate.

No shame in this idea and to each his own, but this new idea looks like a sweaty mess waiting to happen.<br> Out here in the desert heat, we have started to minimize undersuits.<br> Somtimes just wearing the gaskets alone with only a pair of shorts on.<br> There really is no need for a undersuit when everything is pretty much covered with armor and gaskets. The only visual part would be the crotch area, and for that we can just use a nice pair of black shorts.<br> So this is a option for those troopers that armor up in colder areas as opposed to troopers in hotter temperatures.

Being one of the recent approved FO troopers from a fan build kit, (not Anovos) and in the first 130 or so approved. I agree to disagree on some of these seamless parts. It was a tough build to start with, looking at so many reference photos, going back and forth with the CRLs and what was actually shown in images from the movie set. To see how some parts were seamless and some are not, even the construction on some of these parts have to be built a certain way. Which i think if you are going to build it to a high standard or as accurate as possible, its easy to take that extra step to make it fully seamless. For instance the back yoke is 2 pieces with a bridge to join the parts together, the only real way to get them connected and movie accurate is to make the back yoke/ram horns seamless. Now for The biceps I scratched my head a few times looking at the CRLs and the images from the movie set / screen shots and you can plain out notice there is seams, so each individual arms could fit in the armor. But when building the set of armor I took the extra step and made them fully seamless to match CRL level. But I do agree this issue should be addressed and changed. As for the Ab section, to be more accurate make it seamless, It just looks more professional and matches what was on screen. Now for the dreaded TD. The way it is design there really is no way to make this not seamless. As those that know -- who have built the TD. It is a real struggle to get the thing together correctly, sometimes you really have to sand down and trim the thing to make it work properly. Which in turn makes more area to fill, smooth, and patch, after all that clean up and some filler primer The TD is pretty much seamless finished. Now we await the Phasma, and Elite CRLs...

What about doing or starting Captain Phasma CRL??
