Like to share this Shoulder ammo pouch. Made by hand for under $5. Found a basic layout pattern of this pouch & used some cut pieces of Styrofoam board for filler and basic look alike leather material. Lots of glue and a clip strap to secure it.

Anyone ever make the ammo pouch out of foam?. I know alot use leather or pleather, and Im about to make my own. Post up the DIY ammo pouches, lets see them. Thnx

Do not know what section this should be posted in. But has anyone mounted a gopro on their armor for troops or events? Going to Star Wars Celebration nxt month and was thinkin about mounting a gopro on my suit and gettin everything on film, since it will be so hard to keep taking out the phone and getting pics. Ideas anyone. Yes I know some things cannot be filmed and that will be noted.. Thank you

I just tell ppl I made it, and its legit.. "you just can't buy this in the store" When it comes to the blaster, ppl ask if its real. I just nod my head and keep troopin. Then there's the dam kids that do like to run around u, touch u any chance they get and just annoy the F out of you. Most of the 501st events are for kids, so I know most of you can feel the pain.

Yep, got to consider bathroom breaks. So I went 2pc

First troop in costume for 7hrs at Halloween party worked great. The mic system work good, no back feed, ppl could hear me well even with music load. Most ppl were impressed with the costume and the mic & amp setup sounded just like a stormtrooper should.. I made a homemade around the rear mic set up. So the mic was pretty close to my mouth, having the mic just velcro to inside helmet did not work well. The amp was clipped to the suspenders that held the cod piece up which was under the chest piece. Again this worked great.

Look good, but why does the right eye look bigger then the left? About to build another lid myself. Since the first one I have is a rubies that I modified.

Haha. Would hv not asked if I had scrap plastic laying around. I found some plastic hooks at the .99 store. We will see how it works.

Any idea where I can get extra plastic for this?
