  1. Hey Rich you don't have to drill any holes to mount the mics. Simply use hot glue, tape of velcro. Many customers have gotten creative when it comes to mic placement but it's not necessary or required to drill holes.
  2. Outside Inside My inside seams are actually aligned perfectly but the photo illustrated above is without the velcro in place to hold then together correctly
  3. Great job James and thanks for updating us with this information. Troopers Helping Troopers
  4. Looking good Brit, Worth noting: Every valley, raised area, and imperfection will be exacerbated when paint is applied. The Phasma chrome may hide some of those or make them worse so, it might be worth consulting with a current Phasma and get their opinion on the subject. I only mention this because nothing is more frustrating than areas you thought were good to go that weren't. I've never built a costume that was chromed so I can't comment on that but I've built plenty that were painted. Keep up the great work.
  5. Jacob if you don't mind me asking what are you using for paint, rattle can or pro?
  6. "First time doing stuff like this, so it was a "learning experience" of what not to do again." We've all been there brother. Keep up the good work
  7. Fantastic job, congratulations Richard and welcome to Expert Infantry
  8. Looks great nice work. Please keep in mind if you're using the belt for "Stunt" you might want to consult your garrison GML to see if they're ok with patching the upper holster holes (only the lower two are for Stunt). They should accept it at basic but some may call it out. That said, the belt itself will definitely have to be replaced for the higher levels of approval, if using it for stunt.
  9. I believe the CRL statement eliminates any confusion between Phasma and the TFA which does have soft pouches. That said, once you've been approved at any level if you want to add a card carrier pouch that's completely up to you.
  10. Yea removing the ammo belt is a B. Looks like you did a great job The extra velcro on the left side of the belt was to help support the holster area
  11. Coming along nicely Jacob, looks like you're getting some great advice. Keep up the good work
  12. Yes it was. I've seen folks buy the mix and forget the gun and tips. Sounds like you're ready to go
