  1. I think at this point you should just take credit for custom cover strip technique. I've been looking all over on build threads with no luck. I think you're just being modest Russell
  2. Yea I didn't notice your because your request states"Trooper emulated: Sergeant Desert Trooper" Thought they were different from the "Look Sir" for some reason.
  3. Most likely you can remedy the issue by just thinning out the ears. Left side - thin out the upper (round section), and lower rear portion. Right side - thin out the entire ear to compensate for the left. This is my ATA Cantina Captain bucket. The ears are a bit on the thin side but uniform.
  4. Was that gap created by just bringing down the brow?
  5. Yea Joseph! Welcome to the ranks brother!
  6. Every time I stop by here I am absolutely amazed, yes that's my amazed look lol Brian your are master craftsman. Bravo!
  7. Dang I am blind hahaha. I do think your brow is a bit high though. I believe it's supposed to be around 5/8" or something like that.
  8. Those are some serious connecting straps. Love the detailing.
  9. I did the same with my ears. Just sat there with my dremel and fine tuned every bump and crevasse. Needless to say I still had high and low spots. Looking great Paul!
  10. Excellent tutorial Kyle and beautiful job on your bucket
  11. Another SWAT "look sir", you have better eyes than I, haha.
  12. Hey Jason sorry I'm late you your build party here. Looking good sir. I may be correct in saying, if you're shooting for SWAT, you may be the fist "Look Sir Droids" version. Can we get a side shot of your ears. Judging by the alignment at the bottom of your bucket something looks off with the ears. I could be completely wrong but they may be on the wrong side but I can't tell from the current pics. Keep up the good work.
  13. Great build Todd. Very nice job sir
  14. Looking great Lee
  15. Man I love ATA armor. Beautiful, just beautiful!
  16. Congrats Layne, welcome to the ranks sir
  17. Russell I've been corrected. Though your forearms will offset themselves while in action, the DO will be looking at cover strip alignment during the approval process. In your image here you are correct in your alignment. The strapping will work there also. My apologies for giving you the incorrect information.
