  10. Hey Chris Sly or myself will be with your shortly. Thanks for hanging tight brother.
  11. Hey Brian sorry for the delay brother, holidays set me back a couple days. Let's finish this shall we? First off, Thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required photos have been posted. Your armor contains all the necessary requirements needed for Centurion. We knew from your EIB app Centurion was what you had your sights on. Your attention to detail and accuracy is evident in your build. Excellent job! That said Sly and myself would like to welcome you to Centurion. Congratulations!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we'd like to discuss an observation we personally have. Sometimes changes and or adjustments are suggested so you can look your best. If we had anything to suggest it would be to permanently affix the drop box straps so that the boxes remain in the correct position at all times. Depending on which picture I look at the locations change. Simply glue, snap or velcro those for us. Congrats again!
  12. Yea spot putty is definitely the key here. I'm starting to see faint lines here and there in my build also due to obviously missing some fine detailing during my pre paint prep. Full cure time with my type of paint can take up to 60 days, which unfortunately may also reveal more discrepancies. Awesome work.
  13. Well, though theoretically possible to shim there, shimming at the left and right ab connections would be more logical. The armor is already rectangular in shape, shimming the sides would give it a more rounded shape IMO.
  14. Thanks Paul
  15. Very cool, looking awesome
  16. Yes. The suspension system that I'll be using will be unique compared most that has been seen so far. Trying to stay true to what's accurate. Thanks Tim
  17. ah hahaha so true, so true
  18. If you wish you can follow the TFA TK link in my signature. The Chest and Yoke (back and shoulder) float over the torso (ab and kidney section) they do not physically attach to it however, how you choose to affix the chest to the Yoke is another thing. Some attach a piece of elastic or nylon webbing between the left and right yoke front sections then place a rivet dead center that attaches to the chest. Others like myself use velcro. There may be other ways but these are them most common.
  19. Sorry for the delay folks, waiting for additional parts to arrive so I can finish the shoulders
  20. Hey James, Congrats trooper, welcome to EIB
