  1. Just out of curiosity is there a reason you cut off the front section? Edit: Maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture?
  2. Yes, and the sides don't have to be exact or perfect.
  3. Better off allowing the trim to cover the ear. There's minor differences but mainly similarities
  4. Keep up the good work troopers

  6. Yes and this doesn't have to be perfect. Canon ears were kinda staggered. Every helmet I build I try to align it like this regardless or series.
  7. When in doubt refer to reference photos .
  8. Interesting. If they actually use a hard hat liner similar to what's in the canon helmets I'd wear it as is, but as they've clearly admitted the one they supply is junk. Why Anovos why
  9. Looks about right, just ensure the lower rear halves of the armor are aligned. They look off in the photo but could just be the photo angle.
  10. Hey Jim thanks for your submission. Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. We still need a few more photos. Recheck photos they're not posting Also need helmet lens color
  11. Hey Andreas Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. While you're waiting please post a photo of the wrist side of your forearms please. Also after a closer at your photos the left rear shoulder bell appears to have a large dent.
  12. Welcome back Paul and thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. Beautiful job on your build my friend Andrew and I are pleased to announce your armor displays all the elements as set out in the Centurion CRL. Congratulations and welcome to Centurion Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: As mentioned during your EIB application reducing the shoulder bell to chest gap and raising your waist belt would help you armor look even cleaner and more accurate. Minor tweaks you can do in time. Reference photo Reference photo That's it Paul, again excellent job on your build. Time to report to Vader
  13. After that last election we still have purists?
  14. Very nice
  15. Now that's red
  16. Alright Dominic Andrew or myself will be with your shortly
  17. For the record and off topic great to see you back Tim
  18. Done!
  19. Also updated Kidney Armor For 501st approval: · The kidney armor is separated in the back and covered by a rectangular plate. · The rectangular plate is separate from the posterior armor. For level two certification (if applicable): For level three certification (if applicable):
  20. As discussed on the R1TK CRL thread unless it can be proven otherwise it's possible the helmet tube vents were hollow like FOTK helmet but with blue tape or other colored material as a back drop. The FOTK had the same hallow design. Thoughts? Also, some including myself don't believe the Ab/Kidney have side gaps at all, but the Ab/kidney is a one piece section with a rear cover plate. The black semi vertical lines are nothing but black molded sections also seen on the ST. Here's what the CRL looks like updated Abdomen Armor For 501st approval: The abdomen armor has a button area that matches the color pattern shown (2 blue + 6 gray); buttons are approximately 7/16" (11mm) in diameter. Left control button area is a raised box with four buttons, the bottom being blue and the rest grey. The buttons are recessed. The back edge of the abdomen plate has a semi vertical seam approximately 70 degrees in design. The Ab and Kidney section is a one piece design with a vertical gap at the kidney separating it into two sections. No side Ab to Kidney gaps are allowed. Any side shims added are to be added to the white areas of the armor. For level two certification (if applicable): The cod armor is separate from the ab plate. For level three certification (if applicable): The abdomen plate detail has two horizontal bevel details cut-out along the top. Button details are recessed and bordered with a thin edge. The right front raised area is rectangular with correct raised detail, unlike ANH.
  21. Yes there's a semi vertical molded section (painted black which looks like a gap) but the design is still one piece with a slit in the back covered by the cover plate.
  22. I'm inclined to agree with Tony on this. Ever since TFA most if not all trooper armor has had a one piece ab/kidney section with a rear cover plate design (FOTK, ST, TT, DT). Without having canon or behind the scene photos for proof this is speculation but the evidence does point heavily in this direction.
