  1. Nice, just add a "D" ring and you're set.
  2. Also regarding the Ab, I seen some close up photos where the ab boxes are clearly separate from the Ab armor. Should we include that in L3?
  3. It's anyone's guess. I've seen some close up photos and to be honest with touching it I would have no idea. To me it looks like a type of vinyl.
  4. #2 pencil, roughly 1/4" lol
  5. From other photos I've seen I'm guessing it's some type of material sewn to the netting but glued to the armor
  6. Are we talking about the same area? Very top of the armor, white? Sewn into the inner mesh?
  7. "OOOohhhh... That made me take another look at the top pic. Those tabs are part of the torso armor, projecting down. Am I now seeing that right?" Correct "Hopefully that'll be something incorporated into ANOVOS' new version. If not, I'll go with what you did in this thread rather than scratchbuild the tabs -- I think it looks cleaner." I haven't see or heard anything from the Anovos camp stating that area will change. "I mean the mesh and shoulder straps and shoulder slider pieces and such. I figured you had been privy to some of the inner workings, but the way you worded things, I was never really sure what was derived from the screen suits and what was your own invention for practicality. I really liked your torso liner and the way you did your straps, so it was a pleasant surprise to see how closely yours matches these. " Yea obviously I had a litte help lol "That one I'm having trouble visualizing..." https://www.amazon.com/Polyester-Sewing-MaxPro-Lingerie-More-Black/dp/B01GV1MQOO/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1520877549&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=boning+for+sewing&psc=1
  8. Lastly, not sure if it fell off the radar but please post a photo of the waist belt by it self please. Basically you waist belt face up and face down on the floor with drop boxes. Thanks
  9. Alright Andreas let's get you approved. Thank you for your Centurion application. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos are present. As mentioned during your EIB application beautiful job on your build. Andrew and I would like to welcome you to Centurion. Great job and congratulations Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Time to get out there representing the Empire as its newest Centurion
  10. Thanks. The area just looked worst than actually was.
  11. Hey Hendrick Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. While you;re waiting please post the following photos. All four sides of the helmet (still need left and back shots) Helmet green lens Blaster "D" ring Thermal Detonator (showing the mounting screws) Action shot
  12. Fantastic job Andrew Suggestion, try aiming your thigh armor so that your cover strips are facing forward not off to the side, then see how your posterior plate sits. If the plate still sits on top of the thigh armor then you can trim the thigh armor in the back to accommodate it if you wish. This isn't a deal breaker by any means when it comes to approvals but make a difference when trooping.
  13. Hey Jonah, some of use were aware of this early on but were limited to the only armor available at the time which was Anovos. It's my understanding now there's a couple suppliers featuring the lower ab to belt connecting points, as well as other areas before unknown. The fabric rigging seen in the photos above and in my thread is the lower section of the suspension system that supports the thighs. As for the white material along the top edge, it was used to secure the suspension system to the armor. I choose to not use it in my build instead used boning which is stronger. Have a great day
  14. Don't want to get too off topic here, on another thread we should do a sloppy armor comparison just for fun
  15. Probably lol. Looking at screen shoots it the sloppiest looking armor to date IMO . I like the details of the armor but it's just a mess
  16. As mentioned on the FB page I personally think it's a rivet on the forearm but until we have a clearer photo it's a guess. Here's a photo of the TFA hand guard.
  17. Lol most of this info I thought was known already like the flash light mount, don't some of the troopers have flash lights like the Shoretrooper? As for the hand plate indent we also knew that TFA, but thought it wasn't any more important than the recessed areas on the forearm front box. A screw or a dark colored cap rivet has also been suspected. Even to this day I don't believe anyone knows exactly what it is. If we know for certain it's a screw which type is it?
