  1. I've got these downloaded and ready to print. I'm thinking I could use a regular Avery sicker of the proper length (if I can find one) and place the printed one's over that label, and then cut them from there... I believe these were printed with WORD, but I'm gonna try Wordpad sense most PC's come with it free... Dan
  2. It DOES look great and yes I know this is an old thread but I still need to ask, do you remember what it was EXACTLY to the main board / motherboard of your Hasbro to give it more power to the LED ? Is there a link to that AND to the template to drill out the barrel ? I will look of course, but as it is now I'm going through looking at stuff TOTALLY different and somehow or another I end up here... Grin... My concentration levels ARE NOT good ! Grin... Thanks, Dan
  3. COOL... I look at so many different things when I'm on here it gets confusing all the time for me opening one thread thinking I'll actually remember where the original is, yeah, good luck with that, but I can tell ya now, you bucket / EAR are AWESOME !!! I'm still gonna go with " the reason mine has gaps in them is so I could be more screen accurate" Grin... AWESOME JOB !!! Dan
  4. Yes I know this thread is a bit old, but so am I and I hope I still get some use every now and then ! Grin... I like to see threads like this where peoples opinions vary so much from one to another however I would love to see more (MANY MANY MORE) images of before and afters. Yes I know that is not gonna happen for the ones who have already made these cuts, (Ya can't go back and take BEFORE pictures if it's already done, Grin) but for the others who are thinking of doing this, please take before pictures as a just in case for the future. I'm still debating... Not even done my first troop yet... Grin, OK, not even approved yet, but SOMEDAY !!! Grin... Dan
  5. I'm glad I found this... I'm also glad that things, while are specific, are also not EXACTLY specific ! Grin... Yes Yes I know, but I undertand (I hope) and that is really gonna help me not freak out so much and get me to trooping sonner... Dan
  6. If you have the time to post a few close up's of this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Dan
  7. Times like this I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad others have had the same issues I KNOW I'm going to have. Dan
  8. I was going through allot of the threads and saw this, and I was AMAZED at this guys talent... I "USE TO" consider myself a tinker, now, compared tot his guy, I just think that I throw rocks at stuff ! Dan
  9. Seems like I do this often but I have to ask, can you tell me where you found Smittys instructions for the rewiring of the hovi's ? Thank You, Dan
  10. I KNOW this is like bringing up something that most people already know, but I NEED to ask... What all is in your bucket ? Like the tubes and so on. Are they for looks or do they do something ? What all electronics are in there ? Thanks, Dan BTW - Even if you don't / can't hit me back, it still LOOKS COOL !!!
  11. Is it just for looks or does the cheese cloth actually DO something ? When the plasti dip is applied to the cheese cloth, is the cheese cloth in one piece, or several ? If it's in one piece HOW do you apply it to the helmet... Dan
  12. Still going through your pix and post to see where I can do better on mine. Dan
  13. Locitus, AWESOME !!! I know, or at least THOUGHT I KNEW I had seen every page on this site and here ya come with something I had not seen. And this was more telling than ANYTHING I could just read... Actual images of a REAL RS Suit that SHOWS SOME of the actual measurements. While I was thinking I was close, I now KNOW that I am close "enough" on some and spot on on some of the others... A W E S O M E ! Thank You for pointing these out... Dan
  14. Yes, I know this is an old topic but most everything here is and it still NEEDS a bit of clarification. I understand the a few different points of view are subscribed to and as someone who is still working on their Armor, I would like a bit more input if possible. Every time I search for cover strip measurements from Google I get this link : http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22913-finish-cover-strip-measurements/ When I'm signed IN here on whitearmor and do a cover strip search in the forums I get this link : ------------- When I do a search for Finish strip I get no results found. Am I doing something wrong ? Or is this all that is said about them. Is there ANY PLACE (link or otherwise) that has ACTUAL MEMBERS with images (close ups would be great) and the measurements that THEY USED ? I've been hitting a brick wall at other avenues of getting this information clearly stated, and while I agree 99% that it does need to be accurate, I also agree 100% that if it does not look right, that is going to have a larger effect on the general public (if any) than the exact correct measurements. I'm sure that SOMEWHERE they have them, but I've never been to ANY CON, where I've seen someone walking around with a vernier caliper measuring things. So, is anyone willing to zap a few images and post them of their cover strips / finish strips front and back ? (front more important to me at this time) And as long as were on this subject, with all the info here, why are measurements not on the the images for the CRL's that most everyone follows ? Understanding that there should be a disclaimer stating something like these are the measurements for THIS TK's Armour - Yours may be close but does not have to be EXACT ? Just asking, because I really have searched allot and there is nothing that doesn't lead to more questions and me second guessing myself ! ( Now that makes two of us, Me, AND my Wife !!! Grin ) Thanks, Dan
  15. I know this is a bit late and all, but IF you still use this system, I am interested in seeing it. I've had my Big Brown box for over three months now, and am STILL reading. I like seeing all things, so I can see what I think would work best for me. If you can't, believe me, after over 7 years when this was posted, I DO 100% UNDERSTAND.
  16. Gotcha, And Thank You again... http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/9510-common-acronyms/ I did look for NE like in the link below but could not find it. It's REALLY LATE for me but I want to keep reading to get things right so I don;t mess up. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24699-ne-ahn-stunt-first-build/?hl=+vaderdave Daniel http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24699-ne-ahn-stunt-first-build/?hl=+vaderdave
  17. Diggin the Helmet stand. Do you mind if I ask where you got it from and how much ? Thanks, Daniel
  18. THANK YOU for pointing that out to me I HONESTLY do appreciate it. I WILL be looking to do it for future posts and may even go back and edit this and try it out here. (Not sure If I want to disturb the flow of the thread though JUST IN CASE someone else like me can not figure it out) Daniel
  19. Thanks for making me feel better... That's how I seen it as well and yet there hasn't been anyone who KNOW FOR SURE, to say so. As it is now, I'm gonna use them to see if they can get the basic approval like I'm thinking it should because of the examples given AND the text. So I guess it could be said that I am following the reference material. Still not 100% for sure if I should give them another coat of pain / dye or not though.
  20. Thank You for your response, Recasters is a term I am now only kinda familiar with. I'm thinking (uh Oh look out) that it means that they got something from someone else, made a mold of it and re-cast it as their own, or something along those lines. And recasting is not good because it takes money out of the pocket of the original artist ? I'm not sure but am thinking that's what meant... As far as all the makers, and I DO MEAN ALL THE MAKERS, how many of there are there total, other than Rubies (grin) is there something pinned or a URL that has them all so I'll know who to go to and who NOT to go to, like Ebay, and Rubies, and what are all the names behind them mean or is it just the company who made them... Like TK, RT, F/X, NE, AP, and so on... Thank You Again, Daniel
  21. Thanks for your response. I honestly DO appreciate it. I have been reading these forums for a good long while and can honestly say I am 100% FOR SURE not gonna buy stuff off of ebay. Daniel
