1. Looking forward to seeing your progress!
2. It looks like that's the part to adjust it to the size of your head... I'm guessing here, as I do not own this kit... Or that hard hat liner, but do use a variant of such...
3. Take the two parts that aren't attached at the back, and adjust to fit your head...
4. When in doubt, step back, take a few deep breaths, calm down, and take your time. If you are really in doubt, take a picture and post it here for help.
5. After looking it over, start a build thread. Remember pictures too
6. I meant everything as a whole, armour included...
7. Jim and tkproducts are awesome! Making the impossible happen from a different country even! I required a mic for my Aker, he sent one with very little leeway time for the troop event!

Jim, if you read this, thank you so very much! I know it was a couple years ago, but your kindness isn't forgotten!
8. Fine grit sand paper... 1200 or so... And a lot of sanding... For rounded pieces use round files, or small triangular files too...
9. What no pictures of everything?
10. Welcome to the world of building!
11. As for voice or amp, most of us use the Aker... I'd suggest picking one up at some point if you wish to be heard... As for the environmental sound system, yes one of our Garrison members sells one.

Re blaster breakage, depending on what broke, I've used a two part epoxy... I can also see uses for Bondo as well in repairs. Depends what broke mainly.
12. Most definitely lol
13. At least by that time, you'll know what to expect..
14. Sometimes on troops I let people hold my blaster for photo ops. One troop someone asked to see my blaster, so I handed it them, thinking nothing of it. The guy pointed out various things, and then said, "and this moves back here, right?" And pulled the plastic trigger guard apart. He apologized, and the blaster has been repaired since, but I'm very leery on handing to people.
15. Just be aware, soft parts may arrive first... Don't let it burst your bubble if they do. Bills travel faster than other mail, it may be the same for soft parts too...
16. Just keep in mind, they said two shipments, and soft parts will probably be arriving first... Just so people aren't let down...
17. All I can say is, go to washroom before troop, watch fluid intake while trooping, don't dehydrate yourself, but don't over do it either. Go to washroom after troop...

If it's a cold day, and you're not sweating, you won't need as much water or fluids, as a hot day where your sweating a lot. Just watch your intake, and be wary of the amount of water your body is holding a well, if it's not coming out your pores, it'll need to come out in the toilet.

Bucket paint - I liked keeping my bucket clean on the inside. No paint and don't have any issues IMO.
18. A question better answered by a Garrison CO/XO... Although Joseph got it too.
19.
Rare earth magnets are sold in Brampton at Magnets OnCore
Address:14 Melanie Drive
Brampton, ON
L6T 4L3
I use a hard hat liner, I like the fact I can remove it from the bucket. It does raise it a little off of your head, but I have no real problems with it. Whatever you feel most comfortable with, is what you should go with.
As to a Fergus Scottish Festival thing... I'd already contacted them, being a kilted trooper myself, they didn't seem to keen on the idea of having a kilted Stormtrooper hanging about.

Edited to get rid of gobbledygook

21. I posted a link to where to find rare earth magnets in Brampton in your welcome thread...
22. The Duty Taxes are there because governments do not want you to buy from other countries, they'd rather keep your purchases in house, so to speak. They try to make it not worth your while to shop abroad... Some packages slip through customs, while others do not... You take your chances when purchasing from outside your country of origin.
23. Lol it was actually fun, and was educational for the officers to learn about the 501st as well. Just remember, anytime you go around your neighbourhood leave blaster at home, unless it's Halloween. You'll encounter a lot of Star Wars fans, and on Thanksgiving day even stopped a bus from the Grand River Transit, as the driver wanted a picture with me lol (yes there were pass Evers on the bus, and a few got off for photo ops too)
24. And you'll be ready to report by the end off the weekend right? Lol
