1. Could purchase a cloth measuring tape in a sewing kit, ask a friend to help with measurements?
2. Looks like the sides are bumping together ... Kidney and ab plate are snug together... Trim the sides so the ab and kidney have a little space would be my suggestion, but you may wish to here from sone who is EIB or Centurion...
3. That scene was awesome! And most memorable.
4. In regards to the excess material about the base of neck... You may wish to reconsider tucking it into your compression suit, if you plan on using the Aker system for talking... I keep the Aker hanging around my neck, I've seen others attach it to chest piece, but either way, the wire goes through top of neck seal, and out the bottom... Just a thought.

Great looking neck piece, and will look into this one myself as well. Thanks for sharing!
5. Mostly yes, although for the hero there may be parts you require, mostly for helmet. Different ears, bubble lenses, somehow to reshape the teeth so there are less... These are the main differences I can think of off hand... If you go EIB, or Centurion, there are a lot more differences...
6. Hope this works... Site doesn't like it when I copy links from my iPad lol

http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24372-fs-helmet-fan-system-echos/
7. They could also be engaging in disinformation... They would not be the first to do so... Keeping the masses on their toes.
8. Cheers Aaron!Looks like your on a good start, and got plans for the future. Looking good recruit! Lol ok so not used to this recruit thing, but your process looks good Trooper!
9. Lol we all get those!
10. The polish of choice that a few TKs use for their armour is Novus.. It can be found at your local Harley Davidson Store. Just thought I'd put that here, as you don't have plastic polish crossed off yet.
11. So does this mean you've tailored your own bodysuit? Lol. Awesome stuff! Now the waiting game...
12. To get proper measurements, unless you know how to take proper measurements yourself... Sometimes it's handy to have a friend or significant other help, as some measurements are hard to read when taking them by yourself.
13. I'm uncertain, what you are asking, do you mean, are the kits for the same type of trooper? ... Most ANH kits are for stunt, I've heard of a few that offer Hero parts for the helmet though. The different armour providers can be made into the various movies, with a bit of work. It's best to determine which movie you'd like to appear as, and go from there.
14. So they've done something between prequels already... Rogue One, if they're doing armour like ANH and ROTJ, seems to fit between V and VI...
15. Pi had heard Rogue 1 was timelines between EP V and Vi ... Not just before IV ... The timeline between III and IV was clone wars tv series, was it not?
16. Sucks to be them huh? Lol at least you're in the know!
17. Earth magnets may be too thick, and may provide a gap between lens and bucket that may be noticeable. I know it's not may, but it seems as though this reply may have too many may words in it....

Sounds like a plan, and if you need pictures I can send via email... Just let me know anytime.
18. Yes, this is what I am talking about. However, I attached Velcro at the two upper corners and one at the lower corner of the eye sockets, and got smoke flat lenses about 1/4 " overlap of the eye sockets.. My bubble lenses also have Velcro, so this way I can switch between them. You don't want to be trooping with bubble lenses... Lol. Velcro also allows for lots of air flow.
19. I believe hero lenses were smoke grey, not green, and they were one strip with two lenses molded... I wish I could post pictures of my own to show you what I mean... Green lens material were for stunt, not close up, helmets...
20. I have the single piece bubble lens, although for trooping I use smoky grey flat lenses. I use Velcro to switch out the lenses, as the flat plastic is about 1/4 of an inch bigger then the eye sockets. I tack both lenses the same, two small pieces at top, and one at bottom. This also allows for air to flow through the bucket, when there's a breeze.
21. It's not Aithentic ... It's not Red River
22. A lot of us use cotton gloves purchased from the dollar store.
23. Yes I noticed, didn't know she was one of us... Awesome!
