1. I know im late to the party but WOW you really have taken this to a whole new level! Great job so far!
2. Ah. Gotcha, good catch on the colors.
3. Man i may have to make a whole other one if those files get shared or are for sale lol.

Thanks for sharing your progress!
4. Yup, i dont have return edges on my thigh tops.
Its really up to you. I had to trim the lengths on my thighs and i just never put return edges back on
5. Got ya. Im just looking for one for a HWT, not a TD.

Did not know if they might have different requirements or if anyone has this exact pauldron and could give me some feedback on it.
6. Got referred to this pauldron by a current member. Wanted to see if anyone else was familiar with the quality of this product before taking the plunge. Thoughts?
Stormtrooper Pauldron Shoulder Pad Sandtrooper Armor (Orange) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0119U7MNM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_havWwb6B3880
7. My biggest fear with BT is interference, and the potential for someone to accidentally lock into your system mid troop. Other than that, and the worry of another battery to replace, i am all ears for this.
8. Always say no to jedi robe
9. Congrats Timmaaaaaaaah!!!!!

Hope to troop with ya next month!
10. Man ive been needing to get a replacement S trim so i can open my AP helmet a little more!

Thanks for the post!
11. And yes, do the arms, body, and then the legs.

At your height, you will need to cut lengths off the thighs at minimum.

I also shortened my COD/Ab plate as well but trimming off my COD from the ab plate, and then taking a inch or so off the cod plate itself while keeping the same curve on top and following the curve of the ab plate.

Check my build out, i believe i documented all the trimming of lengths.

I had aready planned on cutting the COD anyways to make restroom breaks easier and give me a little more flexibility. It sounds scarier than it really is, promise!
12. Looks like you got the updated chest and back. This kit should look exactly like my Centurion submission pics when said and done.

And Jason, AM does come with a nice little goodie bag of extra parts, thats part of why i love em lol
13. Uuuummmm also Heavy Weapon Troopers
14. looking good! aside from everyone elses comments, I think the outlines on your traps and tears look a little big. BUT it could just be my eyes alone. best of luck on that sharp looking armor!
15. Clean looking build! Welcome to the ranks!
16. Congrats guys!!
17. Sorry for the late reply....its surely sad to see you go Steve! It has been an absolute pleasure meeting you here on FISD! Thank you for all you have done for us!
18. Awesome newsletter! I love my 501st family!
19. Congrats Dan the man! Sorry im a lotta late to the party!
20. thats a good looking rubies mod! i have been considering going the extra mile with mine as I have most of the items handy that I could build from scratch.
21. My dlt 19 should be finished up this werkenD. Work and family life, along with serving the Empire and building another costume have taken me away from this temporarily. Ill get some pictures taken tonight and show yall where im at now
22. Small update. Barrel is glued now, vent holes cleaned up, middle sight installed. Need to pick up some t track material today before i can go any further. Also have my bipod assembled, still gotta figure out attachment for it too. Everything is sanded, ready for the finishing touches and paint soon!
23. How about an update! Life has gotten in the way of any progress on my build, but i finally found a little time! So, here is my pvc stock extension for my stock. Down the road ill just carve one out of wood, but this will do the job for now. Remember, this is more of a troopable weapon than it is a screen accurate replica(i dont have the funds for one of those just yet) Using the templates provided, i drilled pilot holes for the vent holes. And, here are the results before cleanup. Will begin cleanup after dinner!
24. Also check out my EIB build, i tackled the AM helmet there, and now use it as a display helmet and backup
25. 1.) dont trust the dimples and pre marked locations for the assembly. Just trust your instincts. They do give you a good reference, but i had trouble getting everything lined up properly following those holes. 2.) dont worry about gluing the top part of the facecto the dome. Just get the cap and back glued first(use e6000 in case u find u need to make an adjustment later). The vents on the back of the dome will not line up perfectly with the back, it should be slightly off. I suggest dry fitting everything(including the ears) as best you can and go from there. If you really need to, you have me on FB, feel free to send pics with questions there if it makes things easier for ya. The AM helmet is nice and very sturdy when assembled, but is just a hair more difficult than other helmets to assemble, but worth it IMHO
