  1. We are all too hung over from the party we had while you were away. We couldn't tell ya even if we tried Welcome back Oh Captai my Captain!
  2. Thanks to you as well! If you ever have a question, feel free to PM me! Its a super exciting time! Best to get comfortable running around in the undersuit now! Lol
  3. Awesome! Wonder what his reaction was after he watched the tape lol
  4. Can't wait to see your progress Kyle! Sadly, we won't be building together this time . Just take your time, ask questions, research, measure THRICE cut once, oh and HAVE FUN! Just remember, most mistakes ARE fixable. Oh and don't let that big brown scary box scare you
  5. Congrats Scott! Making STX Squad proud!
  6. Those are not screen accurate..... But I am extremely jealous!
  7. Cheesecloth is several pieces. Its more for looks, but it also gives the helmet a little more heft, plus it gives the illusion of a 1 piece helmet instead of just a buncha plastic. Also, industrial strength velcro adheres pretty darn good to the finish, just don't attempt to unstick it and move it or the finish will come up with it. I did 1 heavy coat of plastidip/cheesecloth, the 2 more coats of just plastidip to finish it off. Smell was gone in a day and was completely wearable
  8. if they made those, I'd rock em! He happens to be my favorite X Men..well maybe not bright yellow though LOL
  9. Looking good Scott! Should have Centurion in no time! Im right behind ya!
  10. Congrats Timmaaaaaaaaaaay! Timmay timmaaaay!
  11. I wear wolverine socks made to wear with steel toe boots and spenco orthopedic full insoles. My TK boots are more comfortable than my regular shoes. I didn't buy these socks just for trooping, they are socks i bought when i actually worr steel toe boots at my job. My steels have since worn out and my work isn't strict at all on wearing them
  12. Plasti dip and cheesecloth here as well! On my shiney new AP bucket. Was time to retire the AM one as it holds sentimental value to me and my wife --- AP bucket with a "poorboy echo-style" dual fan system and MICH pads ---- And why my AM has sentimental value --- --------
  13. Fuumantroop...im the tolken "asian guy" at most functions in my clique. I like to troop. And it pays homage to my xbox ID FuuManWho Disclaimer: i do own an authentic mandarin collared shirt and a rice hat Another dislaimer: im indonesian, slovak, polish, and Ukrainian....sooooo yeah, but i look mexican out of all things *goooonnnnnnggggggg*
  14. Btw, 1 of the bigger sized cheesecloth pack, and 2 cans if black plastidip plus about 3 cheap chip brushes
  15. My am or ap helmets did not come with frown screen.
  16. Looks great Scott! GREAT SCOTT!!!! Lol, couldn't help myself. Can't wait to see this in person! Btw, I have some brass paint handy, when your ready, come over and lets weather that bad boy!
  17. Good luck Tim! Although ya shouldn't need it!
  18. I was referring to the adapter that splits the ear phone and microphone signal
  19. Like Steve said, make sure you drill the holes prior to gluing them. And when you mark your lenses to cut, don't be afraid to leave a bunch of excess at first until you get them shaped to your eye and have your holes drilled. Then, and only then should you trim more off the lenses. I learned the hard way on one set lol
  20. The wooden dowel works too, i just opted for the abs stack. Just a personal preference
  21. I second Steves method! It worked like a charm, and i can easily remove the lenses if needed.
  22. Gotcha! Gonna see if i can source one locally. That way if I don't like it i can always return it.
  23. So if you decided to go with a throat mic that has a ear piece, just clip off the ear piece and thats it?
