  1. It is a good idea to leave as much air flow space in you helmet as you can, trust me , it gets stuffy in there after a while specially in the warmer months. I stuck cubes of foam in with Velcro so they can be removed for cleaning the inside of the helmet easily. They hold it on my head in the right place, allow air to circulate better, both with the fans on and off. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. Check my build thread, basically I used adhesive backed industrial Velcro, stuck it on first, then stiched the two long edges to webbing, then put in the snap and glued them to the armour using Zappa Gap. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28366-slys-ap-anh-stunt-tk-build/page-7 I can send you more detailed photos directly if you like. Sorry not trying to hijack this thread.
  7. TrOOPer, no it isn't me unfortunately. It was Zack Snyder Director of Batman vs Superman who Tweeted this image yesterday, think he was just having some fun. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Awesome feed back everyone, thank you , going to order it today.
  9. Hi all looking at an Aker amp, I see they come in different watt outputs. 10, 12, and 16 watt, but the unit also increases in dimensions. Is the 10 watt loud enough or is a 12 watt the more preferred unit to use. Th 16watt is just getting too big in size I think but please chime in with what you guys use. many thanks.
  10. Wasn't me!! Now give me back my damn Blaster!!!!
  11. I went with snaps and a Velcro back up, in case of mid troop catastrophic failure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Thank you so much guys. Steve (Slangen), yes I agree need to trim that cover strip down a little, also need to trim the rear strips slightly on the backs of both thighs as well I think. Steve (Gazmosis) Looking forward to getting my EIB and Centurion subs in, as soon as I have my 501st approval. I bit the bullet and cut out the kidney corners as well, as much as I said it wasn't going to happen. I had always started this build aiming for Centurion and hope I can get there in the end. Ben, don't be daunted when it comes to the first cut. If you are getting an untrimmed kit, there is plenty of practice in cutting down the excess first before making final adjustments. It is great fun and the journey an exciting one. There were quite a few build threads I referred to, but always looked movie shots and images in the Photo reference library here on FISD. Good luck with your build.
  13. Thanks guys, it is a surreal feeling to fulfill a childhood dream.

  17. A sneaky test fit before i do the shoulder bridges.
  18. Han hooks glued.
  19. More progress today, so know the shoulder bells are strapped and only need to be attached to the shoulder bridges when they are done. Also glued the button plates onto the ab, and made a garter belt for the thighs. All going well I should be complete by tomorrow afternoon......Yippy.
  20. I too have used Velcro. I sewed the rough part to the tag on the front oh the boot and used industrial soft adhesive backed for the inside of the shin. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. You have two options, I think the $1.56 is for single and 5 x is dearer, I could be wrong. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. OK here we go, these are the fans you are looking for! Ian --------------------
  23. I will check ebay and find the fans and add link. They aren't too bad for noise, and make a big difference to comfort and visibility. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
