  1. Hi Michael Sorry for keeping you waiting my friend, we are catching up on the backlog due to my absentee for three and a half weeks. Ukswrath and I were also both at C8 so we wont be too much longer. I would like to thank you though, for removing the UKG decal from the shoulder bell. We know its something you guys do, but unfortunately it is not part of the EIB and Centurion CRL's. You can put it back on once you have attained you badges. You look awesome by the way, very clean build and application. If you could also add a photo of the rear of your E11 showing the D ring, plus a photo of the other side of your Thermal Det so we can see the bracket s and screws, that would be excellent Sit tight.
  2. You have done a great job with the updates, we will be back with you soon. Thank you for your patience.
  3. You could grind the heads off the screws, remove the brackets, grind the rest of the screw down to the pipe. Re position the brackets , drill new holes and put new screws in. If you use some that dont require nuts you can Areldite them in, paint em black and your done. You got this Pete, you are so close to that EI badge and its is definitely worth it.
  4. It was a pleasure to be part of your Centurion experience, well done and well deserved.
  5. This was my first, and I really hope not my last opportunity to meet the people I talk with on our forums. Yes I wanted to see what a Celebration was all about, but I was not going to line up for any autographs, photos and C shop items as I was there for 2 days only. Did i get what wanted, more than you could ever imagine. Both Tim and Joseph have summed it up nicely. It was a collection of people and the memories of spending time with those people. You were all truly more than I could have ever imagined or wished for when it comes to awesome, genuine and good hearted folks. You are fantastic people in the flesh, and I honestly hope to see you all again someday. Highlights were too many to mention, but I came away with a sense that new friendships were struck, and existing friendships firmly reinforced. My accommodation was the Rosen Plaza, at the west end of the convention center. The sky bridge made it easy for access, and only on the Friday morning did I have to line up to get in. All in all an exceptional experience
  6. Hello, what do we have here!!!, It's our fearless leader Daetrin, finally submitting for Centurion. Oh boy, we've been waiting for this one Lol But on a serious note, thank you for your application, lets get into it. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted. After a small team of us went to work on this armour during Celebration Orlando, thank you guys you know who you are, this armor now contains all necessary elements to qualify you for Centurion. Congratulations Paul, and about bloody time :salute: :salute: On another note, Paul is the 300th approval Tony and I have done since we started as Deployment officers, and it was a pleasure to do this approval for Paul in person. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Well, I've heard of the saying "dont get your undies in a twist", but I have never seen a cod strap in a twist, until now Lol! If there was anything else we would suggest, it is to consider trimming down or taking the corners off the top of the thighs so they cant dig into you. You look great boss, carry on. P.S. You will need to edit your own profile to add your Centurion badge, as we do not have access to modify an Administrator
  7. Hi Peter, very sorry for the delay while having a look at your submission, we noticed the clips on your Thermal Det are sitting a little too far away from the end caps to meet the level 2 CRL as below. If you can fix this, we are ready to post up your review. For level two certification (if applicable): Thermal detonator belt clips are positioned with little to no gap between the clips and the end caps. Thanks for your understanding.
  8. Hey Joachim, great looking armour. You fellow troopers are giving you great advice, so I will list the changes you should make. Thermal det screws, are not a big deal for EI, but if you wish to push for Centurion, we will ask for them to be changed. You should also remove the printed information on the tube. This usually comes off with some thinners very easily. Your shoulder Bells do need to come in at the tops. They should be virtually touching the plastic shoulder bridges. Its an easy fix to shorten the elastic and have them looking right. The cod rivet position will be fine, but you will need to remove the white paint from it. You have great armour, so we certainly think you should get it up to Centurion spec easily. Please also add a photo of the end of your blaster showing the D ring. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
  9. Hey Jeff, great to see you at Celebration, thank you for your application, lets take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present, your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Congratulations Trooper well done! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by us and your fellow troopers. If there are any suggested corrections they will be made here, if any will effect a future application, they will be made in the Centurion section below. Overall, you have a nice set of armour, but with a few little adjustments and fixes, we are going to have you in Centurion form in no time. We shall start from the top and work our way down. I have huge respect for anyone that hand paints their helmet, I took the easy way out on my build, but have hand painted a few commission builds over the years. I think you can tidy up the edges on the ears and tears to make them a little straighter. I use a toothpick dipped in turpentine and scratch the paint away at the edge to straighten lines or remove any paint runs. Give it a try, it works a treat and is easy to clean up. Secondly, your Tube stripes need to be re applied. They should run evenly along side the cheek and positioned approximately a pencil thickness away from the cheek. Reference image It is difficult to check how your armour is sitting when having your photos taken for approvals, so the highlighted areas on the below image all seem to be simple dressing issues. This will be a good guide so you know the ballance we are looking for in Centurion app shots. Keep an eye on the shoulder bells and how they sit. Rotate them forward so as to close up the uneven gao between them and your chest plate, and make sure the sholder connecting white elastic isnt pulling out from under the bridge. Also even up the gaps between the bicep and fore arms, and the thigh height. Reference Image As we move down to your Ab and kidney plates, there are only minor adjustments needed. 1. The side gaps, we will cover off in the centurion section. 2. Main Ab button plate. It appears you have trimmed too much off around the edges of the button plate. I have added a reference image below to show how the originals were trimmed. It;s not something we will request you change but more just to point out to others how they usually should look. On the smaller button plate, you could still trimm some off so it is smaller than the part it mounts too. That is an easy fix. While at the mid section, we think your back to kidney straps can be shortened up so the plates stay nicely aligned, and maybe the shoulder bridges can be more centralised in their alignment. Thermal Det screws: These should be a flat blade pan head type screw and also painted black for that finishing touch. It is a little difficult to determine exactly what you have used due to the image size, but they look like rivets or Philips head screws Reference image Centurion Suggestions: In this section Uk or myself may suggest recommended or required repairs prior to applying for the Centurion level, however the accuracy it is ultimately up to the trooper. We do our best to cover everything, but the more detailed photos that come with a level 3 application may reveal other items that could require change. These are the few items that will require change to meet the level 3 requirements for your future Centurion application, so lets cover off on those. As per the CRL for level 3 Side gaps For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. This gap looks too small to require a shim, so tighten up that belt Jeff Side rivets will require a lick of white paint to fit the requirement as below. Rivets are painted white. Ammo belt For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes must have full inner drop boxes to close the back. Flat covers are not allowed. Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. So shorten the straps from which the drop boxes hang, make sure they align at the ends of the plastic ammo belt, and get yourself some inner boxes. I believe Mark from AP can supply those for you. Well that's it Jeff, thank you for your patience, make your corrections and get that Centurion application in. Congratulations trooper
  10. Hey Solomon your fellow troopers are guiding you well. Can we please ask for a photo of both your fore arms side by side showing the wrist end opening, preferably when you are not wearing them. Also yes your thigh ammo pack has been installed upside down. You will need to correct this for your Centurion application. Also your side gaps are still a touch too big. See if you cant tighten your belt a little more to bring the gap down more. Any questions please don't hesitate to send me a PM
  11. Those are perfect mate, thank you.
  12. Looking good Pete. Can I please ask for a photo of the rear of your E11 showing the D ring and also a side on and front image of you kitted up with the holster attached to your brlt. Many thanks and we will be with you as soon as we catch up on the backlog after being away for celebration.
  13. Hi Jeff Can we please have a photo of the other side of your thermal det please. Thanks for your patience, I'm just getting back into the swing of things
  14. Great job on your armour Paul, I'm back in Australia now, so tony and I will be with you once we catch up on these apps
  15. Yes Jim, make the helmet,. Your work is awesome. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Hey Martyn thank you for your EIB application, lets get going. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present and your armor displays all the elements required for Level 2 Badge. Congratulations and welcome to Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by us and your fellow troopers. Suggestions made here are to improve the overall look of your armor. If these suggestions would effect an application they will be mentioned in the above or below sections. We love a good RS build and this is no exception, with only a couple of very minor suggestions needed. You do have some separation occurring between your back and kidney plate, and firmly believe that if you shorten the elastic on the brackets, this will have them sitting closer together. Reference Image Great work on the Anovos Helmet too, its so good to see one with all the recommended mods done straight up in an EI application, and hopefully other future EI applicants can take a leaf from your book. Centurion Suggestions: In this area we try to prepare you for Centurion, and unless anything presents itself in the extra photos required in the level 3 application, we only have one item to mention. As per the Level 3 CRL For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.Im sure yours have only sliped in slightly, but maybe a dab of glue or a small piece of adhesive Velcro will stop them from moving along the belt That is it good sir, great application and set of armour, Congrats and we shall see you in Centurion soon
  17. Hi Marty, we wont be too much longer, in the mean time could you please post up a photo of the end of your blaster showing the D ring. We understand it is missing from the photo check list but that is being revised and will be updated soon. Looking sharp sir
  18. Hi Aaron, Thank you for your Centurion application, lets get you approved. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Your armor displays all the required components as set out in the level 3 CRL Tony and I would like to congratulate and welcome you to Centurion . Excellent work!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Nothing to add here. Thank you for making the adjustment as set out in your EIB review Head on out Centurion
  19. Hey Jim thank you for your patience and welcome to your EI review. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper, congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Not much to cover Jim which is excellent, so lets look at what we think. You must be pleased with how this build has gone, good balance, clean lines overall, and only a few dress issues. The most common that we see are the shoulder bells and positioning. Yours aren't too bad, but could still do with those top straps being shortened to make the tops of the bells touch the shoulder bridges. The left one could also be rotated forward slightly to even the gap with the right. We would also recommend dropping the left fore arm down to replicate the gap you have on the right between the Bicep. Your belt positioning is also just a touch out. It should sit over the base of the main Ab button plate as in the below reference image. Reference image. One more thing is the length of your forearm cover strips. They are a little short at the elbows, and do look better if they are run to the end of the two halves. We look at these little things to get as many of our troopers looking as much the same as we can. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. We do have a couple areas that will need to be address before applying for Centurion if you choose to do so. Well Jim the only thing that stands out here is some return edge left at the wrist end of your fore arms. As per the CRL For level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. All this material has to come out. Reference Image That is it my friend, a fantastic job of your armour with some minor corrections and you are ready to shoot for Centurion. Congratulations once again sir
  20. Looking good, love the shoes Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Hi Teresa, yes yes we can see you now will be with you as soon as possible.
  22. Nice work Aaron, we shall be with you shortly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. Hey Mark Thank you for your EI application. Lets get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome to the rank trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Only some very minor things to look at that we know you will have done in a flash, so here they are. Very minor gap between back and Kidney plate: This is most probably just a tiny strap adjustment to keep the gap to is minimum and even across the back. While we are on the below image, just make sure you have your help take some photos of the back of you to check and make sure you are happy with the alignment of various parts, like your calf closures, its only a dressing issue, but something to be mindful of. Reference image Drop the thighs to even out the gaps: just drop them a touch so you don't have as much of a gap at the knees. Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. We are happy to state, that this is a very nice clean build and thank you for adding in a few extra photos. great attention to detail, and just those few little adjustments we have mentioned above and you will be spot on for Centurion. Congratulations and get that Centurion application together, very well done trooper.
