I'm starting to lean towards the Black series style theory, as the angle at the end of the brow "U" gasket rubber looks to be very similar as opposed to the straight cut ends seen on the original trilogy buckets.

Now an SLA printed E11, that would be really something. Still lighter than resin, somewhat stronger than an FDM printed version, with next to no clean up and extreme detail. That would really float my boat. But as mentioned by my fellow troopers above, rubber is by far the most resilient.

Cant wait to go watch it again. it was a little difficult to really get a handle on the scattered armour parts but at least ill know when to expect it and focus more on it. I can just imagine when the Blu ray come out we are all at home checking it frame by frame for every little detail lol.

I believe members have made CRL's based on a lot less info and images in the past. Comes down to if you want something bad enough, you would spend the time scouring the internet and all avenues of resource for anything and everything from as many angles as possible. Certainly wouldn't be the first time its been done in the legion

If it is the Jet and Sith Jet Troopers you are referring to, you would need to ask Spec Opps Detachment that question as I believe they would be the ones to covert this costume

You may also find members of your local garrison or unit that will do custom builds or commission work.

The armour was very asymmetrical so left and right were different shapes. Hot water bath would have been the way to go before the halves were glued together. If you have used E6000 then you can pull the cover strips off and wrap the halves around something round and tie up with twine. Immerse in boiling water you have just taken off the heat for around 30 seconds to 1 minute so the plastic slightly softens, then hit it with cold water to reset into a rounder shape.

No that has been printed without enough wall layers. On smaller items or narrow items they should be printed for strength either solid or with at least 4-5 wall layers thick. From that image it looks like it was printed with only 2 perhaps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
