  1. I think what we might do once this is complete and we have a CRL is move the entire thread to the EU section where it will reside with the likes of the Heavy Weapons Trooper, the TKC. It will have its own heading and build thread.
  2. Keep it all together here. You can edit the title to reflect the content. perhaps something like, Fallen Order HAS CRL development and build thread. Kinda covers all basses, and I'm sure anyone in the future that wishes to build one will love the extra history behind it.
  3. Photobucket has been fickle for a long time, sorry you images have gone MIA but maybe give Imur a go to replace them. We have many old build threads with missing images due to Photobucket which slowly but surely we are trying to recover and add back in through Imgur. It does seem odd that it is only some of your images, but the old PB before they changed it, anyone could download your images and use them as they became public domain. Maybe there is a glitch or somehow someone has managed to remove them from PB.
  4. Gary, You can doo eeeeeeet!!!
  5. Leopard trooper look is cool
  6. Chad, Chad, Chad....... what do we do with you. So true to form as per your continual comments on the Legion boards with matters you simply have no clue about, you feel compelled to make uneducated commentary with no research behind it here. Now you can do that all you like over there, but do not bring your political pot stirring here please.
  7. Great work mate, I have really enjoyed watching your journey and how far your armour and skills have come.
  8. Do your fore arms have a different dimple count? Left arm has 11 dimples the right arm has 12. as the fore arms might be a slightly different size the inner parts may also to suit. This may impact your Biceps and degree of movement or bend so my advice it tape them together and try them on to see which is more comfortable.
  9. Can you imagine if anyone was allowed to have an opinion on Legion boards without it devolving into a raging cesspool lol, It just wouldn't be the legion forums.
  10. Well Steve, you will be instrumental in developing this CRL so I took the liberty to reach out to the LMO's, who have given their blessing. Full speed ahead sir. Also love the Z-6, who did the commission build, or created the 3D files for it?
  11. Hi Jay, welcome aboard!
  12. Paul will have until the end of the week, Friday my time to respond if he so wishes. After this I will make a statement which will be carried over to Legion boards, then I will be locking this thread. It will remain visible as part of FISD history for full transparency as per my promise to the FISD membership. Thank you all
  13. Yep 1 CRL with accessory options. it going to be a full gamut that's for sure.
  14. Can never have too many clamps . Your work is progressing very nicely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. As Joseph mentioned above, we try not to evolve CRL's dramatically unless they really require it. Some changes like words that don' make sense or minor oversights will get adjusted when brought to our attention and these happen in the background as they generally won't affect any approval. Larger items that do change the approvals are discussed with staff and members before they are made as an official change.
  16. Welcome aboard Christin! You have come to the right place. There are plenty of OCD, accuracy hungry members here to help you on this build journey you are about to embark on.
  17. Welcome to FISD Mathew! As you may now be aware through your early stages of research, we look after the original Incinerator trooper from the games. It has what is known as a CRL (Costume Reference library). Due to this, the Incinerator trooper from the Mandalorian will indeed fall under our charter. The most important element of starting a costume that is different or new is to have plenty of reference images from all sides of the costume you wish to recreate. Front, back, left and right sides at a minimum. Then you will require close up images to expose the finer details. Basically you need to show the detachment you have enough information to recreate the particular version of the costume and in-turn create the CRL for it as you build it. Now there are plenty of experienced members and staff here that can help you with the writing of the CRL, and yep you get credit for creating it legion wide, but the ground work is up to you. This is indeed a kick butt costume and I for one think its awesome that you want to build one so fear not, you wont be alone on this journey. I promise you it will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do. Considering we have a member who has very recently started working on creating a CRL for another variant storm trooper (from a game), please check out his research thread to get an idea on how and where to start. His enthusiasm and research is what drives him to make his dream a reality, so can yours be.
  18. Welcome aboard John.
  19. Welcome to Expert Infantry Daniel
  20. I cant see screw in the ears from your images which heavily suggests RotJ helmet, the ears are glued on not screwed on as in ANH and ESB.
  21. I have seen the drafts and they are coming along. We may need to do a few quick CRL updates as have discovered a couple of minor discrepancies so this has been two fold effectively.
  22. We wont know until you are kitted up and posting an application thread, but if they are shiny and black, then they seem to fit the brief. Now you have your printer parts I expect to see some good progress over the weekend
  23. Hi Charlie, you can definitely do much better than an SDS helmet. Some of the armour makers who do helmet kits are. CFO (cast from original) AP ATA TM RS prop. All of these can be found in our vetted armorers list in the getting started section of our forums.
  24. Hi Danny, welcome aboard. Looks like you are getting some great advice already, and you are on your way. Enjoy the journey.
