@bigcheesewilly You are completely right, but in that case adding a real scope is pointless, too, because you never see anybody looking through it ... Having a working bolt, btw, qualifies as pointless, too. But hey, come on, adding "real" stuff to the (otherwise) plastic weapon is the next best thing to owning the real McCoy.

Or take a look at the doopy-doos Website. Around 14 Pounds, if I remember correctly ...

works beautifully, but will make the doopydoos too heavy to troop with. If you carry it around your arms become longer and longer, if you put it in your Holster, itt will drag down your belt ...

Could someone craft for me?
Bone replied to bobcat_justin's topic in The Foundry - Armor and Prop Making
Yep! Just do it. Won't get any better. Look it up to see WHO is offering HIS suit. Just saying ... -
My first bucket! LOOK LOOK LOOK
Bone replied to 7w1n9m4n7's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I second the comment about the tears, but otherwise it is a good looking bucket. Well done! -
it can vary. It is up to you, what you feel Looks good is okay. just Keep in mind to make the stripes rather Slim and that they are not straight vertical, but lean in to the middle.

you wear your armor for trick or treating or for partying? I'd fear that some drunken idiot would destroy or at least damage my armor at a Party. So for me, armor is strictly not for parties.

hey Dean, how big/tall are you? I always believed to have a rather big head, too, but I never ran into issues even with a Standard sized helmet fromTM. If every single maker bows out, perhaps it is better you go with a vader ... Tell us more, perhaps your fear is not valid.

Yeah, what's that thing, keeping him secret?

Overwhelmed! Interesting Story Twist, that what has happened 38 years ago is now a myth even in the star wars world. This is the most intelligent way of filmmaking and restarting the Franchise: To let us old geeks be the wise old men who can say "Yes, I remember. I was there, everything is true. All of it!" and at the same time let the younger generatione explore this world through the eyes of the Young protagonists. Everybody is pleased that way and we are elevated into the Position of the all-knowing-old-men. I like it a lot!

My forearms look exactly like yours and I didn't cut too much material. It is a TM Feature, nothing wrong with that. The openings for your Hands are round and that is the only Thing that matters ...

Glückwünsche, Jungs! Alles Gute für Euch! (Congratulation, guys! All the best!)

Hey Sascha! Welcome to the White Zone! Why don't you take the Chance to introduce yourself a bit more to the rest of us bucketheads? First of all, think over your Approach to the armor. Not being good with Tools shouldn't be the reaseon not to try to build your armor yourself. It is not nearly as hard or complicated as you might imagine. Do yourself a favour and build it on your own. Only this way you will have an armor that fits your Frame and will look good on you. Having the armor built to your size by another one will only lead to two things:1) It can't fit 100 % like it would fit if you cut and glued all the stuff by yourself and if any changes Need to be made, you Need to pry the armor apart and do it over. 2) you don't have any idea how the armor is built in the first way and therefore will not bold enough to make alterations yourself. Coming back to your request: Troopermaster is the nearest and best of all the suppliers for us Germans (sskunky is the other one if you want to go ROTJ), because both of them are brits, produce armor for years and are reliable!. To see his armor contact your local garrison and ask if anybody wears a TM and try to meet him (where do you come from exactly, anyway?). Or go through all the Centurion applications here on the board to get a Feeling for what to expect. If there is no Chance for you to see armor in Person, rely on the advice given here on the board. Honest and seasoned members all around.

band aid ...

Like real old armor. I haven't recently seen any armor where the lower back is still one piece ... With RS you can rest assured, they will make it correctly. Anyway, sitting in armor is not recommended, but if you practise enough, you will at least achieve some kind of lounge slouching.
-
err, not really ... "Sorry, the requested page does not exist."

They are kiddin', right?
-
If you say "everything is small have about a 2 inch gap every where ", do you mean, you have gaps on the thighs and the lower legs and all over the arms, too? If this is the case, I highly doubt, that another suit will make that much of a difference ...

Is anyone other than Anovos making FO trooper armor?

Yep, which one are you talking about? Got a link? -

UK armour bin @ Aldi

Please do! I wonder if they might have the same offer here in Germany ... -
Or look for riding boots from "Roamers". http://www.amazon.com/Roamers-Unisex-Leather-Jodhpur-Equestrian/dp/B00PI2T4SE/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1439224341&sr=8-11&keywords=roamers+boots

Well, you could take a look at the thread from the master himself: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19340-tms-anh-hero-buildtm/

Sitting is one of the main issues with the armor. Some people, like me, manage to sit in it, but it is not comfortable. So your goal concerning the fitting of the leg armor should be to make them bearable while walking and standing. If they are already slightly too narrow, by all means, losen them up, because otherwise your blood circulation will be cut off after a while. Imagine standing or walking around a few hours and your legs swelling ... not good. The upper legs don't need to hold up by themselves, they will be held in place with a garter belt in the end. They can be a little on the lose side. The amount of overlap was to be expected. Try to take away an equal amount from both sides, so that you end up with a split right in the middle, exactly opposite the front coverstrip. BTW, the back coverstrip can be up to 25mm wide.

If you think about how long it takes to dress up and then add the time it takes to pull off the armor from an unconscious trooper, you are in a time range between 30 minutes to an hour. That wouldn't fit actionwise, too ... File that under "classic plot twist that is so funny and witty, that we are using it in the movie, despite the fact that is unrealistic and silly". George Lucas seems to like it tremendously, because Indiana jones is also doing it twice or thrice.
