Someone posted this pix recently and it's awesome! I'd like to get this on a poster, or something, wouldn't you? This was taken with FX armor - anyone care to try to re-make it with modern suits? Free March to 1000 coffee prototype mug to the winner. What say you troopers?

To be more clear, the CRL says *nothing* about the presence of the U fabric on the sides, e.g. doesn't say that it cannot be present. The prototype as shown complies with the CRL as I read it. Heck, in comics they leave out the U too, so I don't see a material difference. Here is a pix from last Celebration. Check out the boots.

As a GML, I'd let these pass in my garrison. As DL, I would recommend a GML let them pass. Ultimately it's up to your local GML.

Just as an FYI, given that we are in election period, and given that we already have had issues with the forum software, we'll not be touching *anything* until the election cycle is over on the forum site. We'll take a look once again once we are past that cycle.

Member Status, 501st Status, Detachment Status

FYI we gave the data to the Legion web team who are still working on it. They said it will be done before voting opens. -
Mmmm...possibly. Do we have a clear shot showing they are one piece?

HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE DARK BLUE STAINS???
Daetrin replied to TKCaleb's topic in Tutorials, Tips and HOWTOs
Someone in my garrison had a similar issue. Their best advice was to lightly hand sand it down, then use ABS paste to fill in any divets. -
Wow, these are awesome photos and I love that you framed the cert. You should be in the newsletter.

femtrooper detachment? Sorry, I'm just out on touch on that one.

Sorry for the delay. I guess for me as a GML when there are very hard to find items like this, I take the approach of if it looks right, flies right. There is a bit of a front flap detail and if you have the lower leg armor over it, it may end up looking the same. Some GMLs may be very hard line about this, so it will depend on your local GML.

5'10" isn't that bad IMHO. The only real issue with the ebay link you have is the front flap, but to be honest if the shin covers up most of the boot, I bet it will look right and no one could really tell. You could just cut off the rugged tread I supposed.

well, every GML is different. I would approve them if they had a strap in front, personally.

I've only ordered from him once IIRC. The wait time was long indeed. Not sure about accuracy - I'd need to see pix.

Hope this works. I've been unable to post.

Well, we are not sure which of the changes we made worked, but I'm glad everyone is OK. -
FWIW, the paldron thing is really up to you. Sometimes we all wore orange, sometimes not. Look at ANH and Lucas just put in whatever made a neat shot, which is why you see more orange that there in theory would be.

No they don’t. All stormtrooper armor is generic with the exception of Phasma, who is the only “face” character we own. Sandtroopers don’t have red pauldrons, they come in white, orange, and black. How you troop as a sandtrooper is entirely your call as long as it complies with a CRL, e.g. you can choose to use a pack and orange pauldron, pack and white pauldron, or whatever you want. There are other sources of pauldrons. Heck, I got my first one on Ebay for $40. For pauldrons, you can own all 3 if you want and just choose whichever you want to wear at a troop. If you get along well with your other sandtroopers, you can swap and borrow if you are budget conscious. For instance when I was a sandy, there were 2 other sandys in my garrison. Rather than all of us owning all 3 pauldrons, we each had a few and then swapped out who wore what during a troop. We did the same thing with our BFGs. Funny enough, we never lent out packs out…
