  1. Great job so far....all the work will be totally worth it!!
  2. You should be able to easily tell if the decals look hand painted. Regular decals would be all straight edged lines...if they look perfect then they won't pass centurion.
  3. Looking forward to seeing your build. If you decide to put a counter on your blaster, I highly recommend SIMPixels counter graphic if you choose to go just a graphic route! Good luck and have fun!
  4. Did you ask TK boots about his discounted boots? He didn't have my size for new ones so I took a chance with discounted pair and they are great...they were discounted due to some tiny wrinkling that would've happened through wear anyways.
  5. Story of the Elephant stuffed with dumplings? Alrighty then....haha Good luck!
  6. I do it boots, shins, thighs, neck seal, main body, and then the arms all as one. With he adjustments to my AP for the chest and abdomen, I got lucky with the snaps on the inner shoulder straps and being able to attach the shoulder bells to them fairly easy....
  7. Congrats and welcome to the ranks
  8. Looks great...only recommendation I would make is move you TD clips out closer to the caps and the the ends should line up with the white piece. That was a recommendation on my EIB. Good luck
  9. Hey David....have to agree with Eric. One thing they stress here is stay away from eBay armor...sorry you had to find out the hard way.
  10. I always wondered how many times the guys in the movies scratched up their faces...
  11. Awesome save with the tooth! Will be following with great interest!
  12. Looks good....good luck!
  13. Hope you don't have to wait long!
  14. Someone with more experience can answer that....I just assume it depends on your head size and helmet. I had to trim some of the neck area off to make it easier to put on....still a little rough taking it off Unless you plan on putting it on and taking it off constantly on troops, I think if you've got the screws inside cut down so you don't scratch yourself up, and obviously can take your helmet off, your okay. And like Evan said, having the S trim helmets keeping your neck from getting scratched up while wearing it and your face doesn't get scratched up taking the helmet off....
  15. I found padding on the top and sides helped level off the helmet and kept it away from my neck...I have some trouble getting my helmet off but as long as it comes off.
  16. What an awesome looking piece of work...can't believe I didn't see this until now!
